High quality part! It was exactly what I needed. This is pretty easy to use with the only challenge being lining up the holes with the receiver and the hitch. Still pretty easy.

We used this to be able to take our golf cart in the bed of our truck while pulling our travel trailer. This extender allowed us to have the tailgate down for the golf cart. It worked perfect and even had a couple people come up to us wondering how we were able to bring our golf cart. Before this we had to take 2 vehicles or just not take the golf cart.

This ain't pretty. But size does matter. The 58102 2" X 2 1/2" receiver adapter hits the spot. It fits nicely into the 2 1/2" receiver with, at most, 1/8" space "slap" room. It's almost full length front to back inside receiver providing plenty of support for my 2" weight distribution system without slap. I have not hooked up my Forest River 29'4", 10,7 75 lb. GVWR Puma tow behind R/V but I do not have any fear of this well constructed, perfect fitting receiver adapter. The people at etrailer are there, willing and able to assist you. I have personally found that, if the C.S. Rep doesn't know the answer, she/he will find the answer and report back to you, in my case within minutes. My purchase was delivered (snail mail) within 5 days and In excellent condition. I will report back shortly after a trial run hooked up.

Works as advertised. Correct fit for my 2019 Chevy 2500 HD WT Duramax. Now I can use this 2 inch hitch for both my 2500 with factory 2.5 inch hitch and my Yukon XL Denali with a 2 inch Class V Hitch

Great accessory for our ebike rack.

Just received the 41/48 inch hitch extension today so haven’t actually used it. However, one can tell the high quality by looking at the welds and thick paint coating. This item is extremely heavy. I expected some weight to it, but it surprised me. Also, the tubing has very tight tolerances. I have two ball mounts, neither of which slid into the extension on their own. I had to pound them in and tap them out with a 3 pound hammer. Once paint and labels were scraped away by this action the ball mounts were able to be slid in by hand. This extension will be used on my dually carrying my truck camper. I’ll be towing an aluminum trailer with a Can Am Spyder. Total weight towed will be less than 2000 pounds so I don’t expect the extension to be subjected to any stress.

I purchased the hitch extension to accomendate our bike rack to go on the back of our truckcamper. I also purchased the bike rack and steps at all work perfectly together. The extension is very heavy duty and can be used for towing a boat. The only con was not the extension it was the packageing it beat itself up. I also added turnbuckles and safety chain and electrical extension.

This was just what was needed. Fits so that sleeve is even with receiver so that a hitch stabilizer/clamp will work. Nice sturdy material with high quality finish.

Works like a champ. I’d gotten a new truck with larger receiver and obviously didn’t want to buy a new ball mount for our weight distributing hitch. Using the adapter initially hurt my head as a ‘band aid’ solution, but it worked flawlessly on a recent 2000 mile trip. Zero regrets; will never hesitate to use it.

Worked as it should. Fitment is super tight on my 2020 F350. I would buy this again.

I love the small ears on the edge that prevent this Sleeve from sliding into the 3” receiver while trying to slide in a hitch. After a year shows little signs of rust even though it has been left on the truck entire time. Of course I leave on the truck since I have a locking hitch pin.

I ordered this adapter from e-Trailer so I could extend my bike rack past my spare tire on my 2005 Honda CRV. This solved my problem and this thing is well made to take the weight.
