Best 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan Roof Racks

Everything went together without a hitch and really looks good installed. * We plan on carrying our 12 1/2' SUP's on the roof rack when we head out to the lakes. * It saves us time as our SUP's are inflatable, however it takes a bit of time to pump them up once we get there. Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

I purchased Malone cross bars to attach a roof tent to my SUV for a road trip to the West and covered 7000 miles, neither the tent or the cross bars moved while on my trip and would recommend them as I would purchase them again and am very happy with them.

Easy to install and looks great. I use these atop my 2019 Honda Passport and have a Roofnest Sparrow rooftop tent mounted to then. No flex. No give. These crossbars get the job done at half the cost of my old Thules. Been over a year with no issues. Would definitely recommend them.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.

Easy to assemble and, solidly built. Very easy/fast to mount/remove after assembly. The instructions are not all that clear for assembly of the combined sr1003 sr1116. I hope this photo will help. Note that the rubber feet remain on the back bar that crosses the car, but the hook that goes under the door frame is transferred to the sr1116 front to back extender bar.

The rack was fairly easy to put on, do NOT over tighten the rectangular nuts on assembly. They are easy to strip. There are now backup nuts on all four bolts on our unit. Be careful to assure that the rubber pads are correctly positioned on the unit's "feet" before tightening it down on your roof. It looks good and on a recent trip from CT to TN and back, we got the best fuel mileage we've gotten since we bought our CRV over a year ago so it sure doesn't create a lot of drag! Once mounted it is sturdy and not unattractive although the side clamps do distort the door gaskets a bit which increased the wind sound level a bit. I think it is a good value if you are careful mounting it.

I would give it five stars if the communication from E-trailer was better. I had missing parts in the box from Rhino rack and it took a few emails back and forth to finally get the parts needed to finish the install, and since I wasn't getting a confirmation email that parts shipped, I came close to ordering the missing parts on my own. But in the end it all worked out well.

Just what I needed! I was looking for racks to put over my Jeep Gladiator's truck bed that would attach the the t-slots of my roll up tonneau cover and these were perfect. Easy install.

I was looking for a way to inexpensively outfit Mt trucks topper with a set of Thule roof racks from a previous vehicle I had. Etrailer had a “used” set of tracks, sans hardware, for a very reasonable price, SCORE! Thank you Etrailer for coming through once again! The tracks arrived quickly and appeared as new! I would have had to buy different mounting bolts anyway as my topper has a storage compartment on one side and a couple hanger brackets that are “built-up” in thickness on the other, standard hardware would be too short. This option saved substantially, thanks to Etrailer!

The track kit arrived without the installation hardware, all I received was the track itself. Once I contacted etrailer, it took another 8 days for the hardware package to arrive. That was disappointing. TI thought they would have sent it next day air. Installation went smoothly overall. Directions were good. The rack once installed has a tendency to move from side to side with minimal effort....not sure if this is going to be a problem or not. The reason is that the flare nuts rest above the roof line by approximately 1/32" once they are installed. Since the flare nuts are higher than the roof, this prevents the track from resting totally flat so it will wobble on the flare nut (similar to a teeter-totter vulcrum).

The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.

The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.

Appreciative that etrailer organizes it so that I didn't have to think too hard/figure out what Thule equipment would work best for my 2015 VW Passat TDI SE. It takes some time to install, moving the bars back and forth so that the padding lines up as best possible for a naked roof; overall, very pleased.

I’ve had this roof rack system for about a year now and it has worked consistently well for the entire 12 months and I believe will continue to work well for me for the for seeable future. I gave it four stars initially and four stars now because I do think the fit and finish of the system could be better. That’s not a dealbreaker for its function because it’s excellent in doing the work it’s designed to do but it just isn’t the prettiest. Great rack, buy it... it will work hard for you. This product exceeded my expectations. I purchased these with the INNO square crossbars and they fit my 2014 Explorer perfect!! Extremely easy to install took about 15 minutes. Very sturdy- I will be hauling my two paddle boards and have no doubt they will travel well! I highly recommend this product.

I went with this Rola Vortex Cargo Rack with extension for its size and multiple tie down points. I Paired it with the Thule 5 inch rapid gutter feet with square bars because: To remove the freedom panels. Square bars are stronger than Aero type bars. Adjustability of fitment as the roof of the Jeep narrows toward the rear. When loaded for camping, I want to maintain rearward vision. Finally, the system met my load requirements. I had weighed the gear that will go onto the rack. And I am at OME specs. I did not want to use the gutter of the freedom panels to carry weight. Since the panels are removable, it seemed to be a potential weak point structurally. NOTES: Because this Rola rack comes in sections, I do not recommend it for “Overlanding”. And because it comes in sections, some weather proofing is needed. I coated the cargo rack guides with an anti seize grease. The bolts of the cargo clamps should be weather proofed as well. Over time, the screws will need to be replaced. They will rust. CONCLUSION Overall I am happy with this set up. Should work well for general camping and hold up to the easier off road trails. If your plans are to Overland for weeks at a time in all weather conditions on moderate to difficult trails having off camber conditions, then this rack may be problematic over time. And may cause damage to the roof top.

Bought this rack to install on our Coleman Taos. Install was easy, rack feels very solid. We can fit four bikes on it or 2 bikes and our canoe. Took our first trip with it, had the kids bikes and canoe on the rack, carried them without any problems

I have used Yakima products for decads, after two decades I got a new vehicle and I needed a wider set of bars. After two decades the products are still relatively easy to install, and fit tight and secure to my vehicle. Do take care to pay attention to the installation instructions and follow the recommended measurements very closely and the installation will go smoothly.
