Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Installed on my 2011 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Access cab long bed with a cab high shell. Unloaded the frame sits 1/2" above the rubber 'spring'. This is perfect such that around town and unloaded the drive is the stock suspension and when cornering they come into contact noticeably reducing roll. When the truck is loaded they come into full time contact providing a much superior ride with no bottoming, better ride height and greatly reduced roll. Really makes a difference on backcountry roads when loaded with camping gear. When I installed them last year I was concerned with the rubber potentially deteriorating, but since then they have been on many loaded camping trips on backcountry roads including a long trip from UT to AK/Yukon and back so they have been thoroughly tested with no signs of the rubber failing. Attached is photo showing ride height with easily 1,000 lbs of load added to the truck for an extended camping expedition. Even if you don't carry heavy loads or trailers, I would install these anyway just for the greatly improved roll resistance when daily driving. Cost is high but they work and last justifying the cost.
I purchased this kit to keep my 2013 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed from bottoming out when it has a load in the bed. It really did the trick as well as improved the stability with or without a load. The only down side is that the suspension is much more stiff without a load in the bed. It took some getting used to, but after having them on for a couple months, it doesn't bother me.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Having purchased a cargo trailer, I thought it might be wise to beef-up the rear suspension on my 2000 Tacoma. I found the Timbrens on etrailer, and it sounded like they might work well, so I purchased a set and installed them. According to the instructions, there should be about a 1/2" gap between the top of the springs, and contact with the bottom of the Timbren - unless you have a CAP on the truck! The gap pretty much evaporated because of the fiberglass Leer cap. So, I'm getting contact a lot of the time. Result is, my ride has become stiffer than I'm used to, but not so much that it bothers me. Like my wife said, " It's a truck! Hello!!" (OK, I'm satisfied with the product.)
Just what the truck asked for... I’m a Farrier, I carry a full workshop in the bed of my truck 24/7. I drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. After a couple months I redid the entire front and rear suspension and added heavy duty rear leafs. After about a year of driving and also adding more tools the truck began to sag a little bit. Ofcourse, the first thing anyone suggested was “airbags” but they didn’t know the use of the truck or where the truck goes from day to day. Being a Farrier, I travel on everything from paved freeways to down and dirty “4lo” back roads. I needed a maintenance and care free system that would allow for over extension and hold the extra weight of my tools and sometimes even a trailer. I did a ton of research and even talked to the Technician Staff at each company. I ultimately decided to go with Timbren SES Kit. It’s easy to install, maintenance free, free floating, and has the best warranty in it’s category. Since I have a custom setup (Ubolt Flip Kit from AllProOffroad) I had to design and build some landing pads to allow for an “interference free” contact with my system. After the first day of working, I am COMPLETELY satisfied with its performance and how my truck feels and drives. As for ”Etrailer” I am very happy with all the information and excellent customer service. I received my parts 2 days before it’s orignal date which makes me super Happy!

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I added these to my Tacoma. With the GFC camper, Solar panels, Marine battery and refrigerator in the back of the truck and the weight of the trailer tongue I gained over 2 inches of height in the back after adding the sumo springs. The body roll is much less now as well. The only dissappointment is not with etrailer or the Sumo Springs, it is with UPS. Initially they scheduled the delivery on Wednesday then changed it to Thursday. Thursday came in went and still didnt have it. Finally arrived on Friday. Thanks for the delay UPS.
These have helped keep my 2014 Tacoma level when towing my RV and trailer. Fairly easy to install, reduces sway and minimal trailer squat with heavy loads. Some stiffness unloaded in colder weather but would recommend and install on my next vehicle.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Put this on a year ago on my 2018 Tacoma luv them I haul a lot of weight plus pull heavy trailers doesn’t sag any more I’d buy them again
Couldn’t have been a simpler install! Total time was less than 15 minutes which included digging the floor jack out, blocking the tires and cleanup. Makes a heck of a difference in keeping the nose of the truck up when towing trailer or hauling 16 golf cart batteries.

RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit
Rarely adding an aftermarket "upgrade" to any of my vehicles am I 100% satisfied with the outcome. There is usually a trade off with something. However, this is one of those upgrades that has zero con's that I've discovered so far. I was struggling to keep the leaf springs on my modded out 3rd get Tacoma from "flattening" out because I always have at least 900 lbs of payload in my bed. Adding the RAS has prevented this from happening. I also thought that they would affect off road performance, since I've never seen them in an off road application before, they don't. People on the trail often ask "What the heck?" when they see them on my rig. I tell them that RAS is the easiest to install, most cost effective solution to manage sag without sacrificing ride quality. There is the famously noted "Taco lean" and it's most prominent after fueling up. RAS will help iron this out. I've had them on for about a year now and they haven't needed any adjustments. Kinda like (Ronco), "set and forget it". I don't know their duty cycle is but, I wouldn't hesitate buying them again!
Easy install 2011 Tacoma crewcab long bed. Helped with sag when towing microlite travel trailer. Keeps the rear end raised in the rear a little when unloaded, but I like that look. Only complaint and its nothing big when truck is unhooked and empty when i get out I can hear alittle noise from RAS. Sort of like a bedspring coil. Night pic is with RAS installed daylight pic is with out installed

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
These are very well built, and the installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I run my Tacoma with a camper shell, and the weight always had the back end squatted a little. These air springs require 5 psi minimum, and I've got 7 in there now, and the level is great. I test drove at 80 psi just for fun, and the truck looked and felt silly. But the real reason I got these is so I can handle loads in the bed and/or tongue weight from trailers. The diameter of the upper and lower disks on the springs is about 4.5 inches. Doing the quick math, the pair of springs will compensate for about 320 lb of load (over the axles) for every 10 psi you inflate. Tongue weights are applied farther back on the vehicle so it works out to about 225 lb of tongue weight per 10 psi given the geometry of my Tacoma. At any rate, these springs will compensate for any conceivable load I'd put on this truck. I'm very happy with them. Oh, I drilled and installed the inflation valves in the bumper, right under the license plate lights where they're unlikely to get stepped on or have loads dropped on them.
I run ride rite air bags on every truck I own I have tried other brands but they just don’t compare, the first set I tried 11 years ago still on that old truck and haven’t failed yet if I blow one tomorrow it wouldn’t owe me a dime it’s done it’s job so yes they are durable and super easy to install , Chevy 2500 and Toyota Tacoma

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Exactly what I was looking for and what was advertised. Simple installation and total job was less than 20 minutes. Solid quality and effectively eliminated the sagging and swaying and without a load, I can't even tell they're on. It's made all the difference when hauling my trailerable sailboat and when hauling gravel. Would definitely recommend to others.
My Tacoma had a recall and I got a free undercoating. When I went to remove the OEM rubber bumpers and put on the Timbren rubber bumpers, I found a bug rust spot that had no undercoating. So glad I installed these. They went on exactly as directed, everything lined up perfectly and looks like they will work well. Haven't put a load on them yet but I'm sure there won't be a problem. So far I would recommend. If anything changes I'll let you know.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
Received earlier than expected. Only took 1/2 an hour to install. No drilling or welding. Lifts truck to a respectable level for towing my trailer.
Parts look to be nice however the listing for this product was a little misleading and I should have probably called ahead. First off, the product arrived clearly used with the original tape seal on the package cut and taped over with the contents already assembled and the rest in ziploc bags, so not a brand new product I was expecting. Second, I purchased this with the intent of using this on my 2WD Tacoma, I unfortunately didn't read that the kit was for axles that are over the leaf springs, but one of the five star reviews shows the same setup as me with the axle below the springs (which this kit isn't made for), the jounce bumper on top the spring, and the bump stop plate riveted to the frame. I purchased based on the customer reviews and images and that lead me to purchase the wrong part. I have since gone on firestone's website and the kit that is listed for 4WD Tacoma's only is actually compatible with both the 2WD and 4WD models and is the same kit number [W217602407]. eTrailer should update the descriptions of both these kits and remove the misleading customer photos since I feel the same thing happened to a previous customer who had purchased my kit and returned it.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I installed the black ones on my Tacoma a little more than a year ago. For the most part I am happy with them. They work great when pulling the trailer, keeping everything level. When driving without a load the truck rides as comfortable as it did before installing the Solo Springs as long as the temperatures are above 20 degrees. When temperatures fall below 20 degrees things get noticeably rougher however.
This product fit my 2010 Toyota Tacoma perfectly. The Sumo Springs were easy to install and I expect them to help support any heavy loads I carry by taking some of the load off of the leaf springs. They will also help keep my truck level regardless of the load I am carrying without making the ride any harsher.

Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops - Rear Suspension - 3,600 lbs
It only took less then 30 minutes to install, What a big improvement!! Installed on a 2022 Toyota Tacoma Off Road, towing a 2018 Coachman Ultra Lite, 5900 lbs.
These do what they're built to do. I overland a lot so when the truck gets weighed down with gear she tends to squat a little and when I go through bumpy areas the factory stops would slam the frame. No any more with these Active Bump Stops. A much smoother ride and less body roll when cornering.

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
My kit was for 2wd Tacoma. It was will easy...except for drilling the vertical hole on each frame rail. The easy way for me was to lift the body weight off the leaf spring while the axle was supported by jack stands (and wheels off). The vertical hole is impossible to drill straight with a big bulky drill. So, use a small drill, short 1/8" bit for your starter hole, then use a step bit drill to correct dia. and you're done. My large drill and regular size bit would not fit in the space between the frame and leaf spring. After that it just falls together. Great Product !
The product arrived with not damage. It was easy to install but because of the application it took about 4 hours. Instructions were very good and the product is functioning as advertised.

RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit
Sagging rear end. I’m not driving on the bump stops anymore and the ride is so much smoother. Saw the rear end go up immediately after install but will have to wait couple of days to see full results.
I purchased a RAS vehicle suspension kit for my 2010 Tacoma to assist with load distribution when towing a trailer. The installation was easy thanks to etrailer’s how to video. They augmented my truck’s springs so the bed didn’t “squat “ with a trailer attached to the hitch. A pleasant unexpected bonus of this kit was a GREATLY improved ride WITHOUT a trailer attached. It has smoothed out my ordinary ride on all types of road surfaces.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
These work well enough, but they seem to be made for several applications (Toyota pickups, Jeeps) and they are a little long for my 95 Toyota pickup. Truck rides on them constantly, they just barely touch. This makes the suspension when unloaded quite stiff, they are supposed to leave a little gap so the vehicle rides on it's own suspension when unloaded. For towing, they're great. For heavy loads, they're great. If I didn't have a cap on the rear, maybe they would have more of a gap. Oh, and the rear springs have 44K on them, this isn't a clapped out beater truck with 300,000 miles on it, the Timbrens are just a hair too long. Would buy again.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
When we bought the pop-up camper for our Tacoma we knew we needed to improve the rear suspension. Many friends have used airbags, but those require frequent monitoring and adjustment, which we wanted to avoid if possible. Etrailer has a selection of Sumo Springs, and we chose a type that suited our situation. We installed them ourselves pretty easily. We enjoyed a long camping season with the pop-up and the Sumos on the truck, over all kinds of roads. The handling and the ride were great, and there was no need for maintenance. Now, with the pop-up off the truck for the winter, we're still enjoying how smooth the truck rides. Glad we got the Sumo Springs!
Added the SumoSprings to my Tacoma because I'm pulling an RV trailer. Springs helped in keeping the trailer level and gives the track better stability. I would recommend this product to any one pulling a heavy trailer with a Tacoma.

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Maybe you can make out these pictures on my 02 tacoma Pre Runner...Thanks again for the second great buying experience!
Good quality product. Makes big difference on my Toyota Tacoma. Installation is straight forward. However, the instructions are not specific to models of trucks. I had to modify one component as it interfered with the shock absorber lower mount at the axle.

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
These are well constructed and durable. I inflate them to match the load I have in the back of my truck so that I have some suspension clearance for the uneven road conditions. They have performed the job I purchased them to do very well!!

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnects - Lower Overload Springs - Universal
Having been in the auto/truck repair business for over 50 years, I thought this would be a good Idea so I tried it. I could have made my own but it would be a lot of cutting and drilling because it is so many pieces. I used it to add capacity so I could haul my camper that I purchased three states away and had to pick up. I used 2 of the 3 plates because there wasn’t enough room for three. It did very well like that but after I got back I added the 3rd plate figuring I could use the third one by just jacking the truck slightly before engaging. I thought all three woul be needed once the camper was full of water and gear. I am enclosing a picture of how ti drill the springs with using the vehicles own drill press (screw jack) for changing tires. I still need to test fully loaded and with all three plates in place.
The front brackets did not fit my stock 2005 F3 15 the down rods for the anti-sway bar were too close to the leaves springs to allow clearance for these stable load additions. Customer Service told me that they have never seen this problem before, that is hard to believe with all of the F350s on the road. However, I was told that I could use the rear plates on their own.
