Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
I won’t have a truck without this product. We haul a lot of cows and hay with an early 1999 F350. This product makes an instant difference in handling with a heavy load. So much so that I was asked to hold money out of an employee check to order a set for his personal truck. Install was easy. Holding up well after two years of abuse. Could not recommend more.
Installed these Timbrens on my 2016 F350 to enhance the stability of my truck for a slide in truck camper. Have loved the results of them. They have noticeably helped leveling the truck/camper combo, and sway while driving. When the camper is off the truck these are not engaged. Have had no issues and would recommend them.

Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Service - Rear Axle
Was able to install these with a 15mm flex head ratchet wrench and lifted the rear of the truck to make it easier. 30 minutes to take off 4 nuts and put em back on. 2 minutes assembling the timbrens with the added spacer. I have a f350 with a salter and plow. Loaded with salt the lights shoot up and in the snow ?? it’s like hitting hyper drive and you’re blinded. These helped big time. Very happy so far.
These are great, put 1500 # of bagged concrete in truck They just were touching the stop bar, stability was what I expected Can’t wait to our RV hooked up and hit the road Took as long to set up the jack as to install these load stabilizer items

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
Mostly raves about etrailer rather than the air bags. 2nd set of these for my 4wd f250’s I use the2wd model so I can keep my factory bump stops and move the bags further outward. They fit my trucks perfectly and I also run the day star saddles so if my truck needs to articulate , it will not cause damage. As always e trailer has the best price coupled with super fast shipping and after purchase support.
Overall very pleased with these air bags. I did add an on board air compressor to allow easy adjustment as I pull anything from a 16,000# fifth wheel, to a 10,000 car trailer to a boat trailer. The ability to adjust with the on board compressor just added convenience to an often used set of air bags.

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle
Just finished the install this afternoon, but everything seems good. The directions were very easy to follow. I found I needed to let things settle into place (loosening bolts and making adjustments), and now all seems good. I drilled holes just above the license plate screws to install the air input valves. Looks great.
I am a 63 year old retired refrigeration mechanic and a DYI guy. These were easy to install an are working good took out the sway when my camper is on I also purchased the frame mounted camper tie down

The installation video is very helpful however, when the tech in the video said there may be some modifications needed he was not kidding. The level of work is quite a bit and do it yourself people should know it can get a little complicated especially if you do not have a lift. Thank you for a nice product. Works very well.
This system I installed on my 2012 Ford F-450 dually pickup. I love it!! I replaced a air bag system that I had put on by so called professionals. It was terrible. It mounted under the spring shackles. It helped when puling a heavy loaded trailer but rode terrible otherwise. The system I bought from e-trailer uses air bags under the rear axles. It handles heavy loads when air up to 90 psi and rides smooth when empty at 25 psi. I recommend it highly.

TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnects - Lower Overload Springs - Universal
Having been in the auto/truck repair business for over 50 years, I thought this would be a good Idea so I tried it. I could have made my own but it would be a lot of cutting and drilling because it is so many pieces. I used it to add capacity so I could haul my camper that I purchased three states away and had to pick up. I used 2 of the 3 plates because there wasn’t enough room for three. It did very well like that but after I got back I added the 3rd plate figuring I could use the third one by just jacking the truck slightly before engaging. I thought all three woul be needed once the camper was full of water and gear. I am enclosing a picture of how ti drill the springs with using the vehicles own drill press (screw jack) for changing tires. I still need to test fully loaded and with all three plates in place.
The front brackets did not fit my stock 2005 F3 15 the down rods for the anti-sway bar were too close to the leaves springs to allow clearance for these stable load additions. Customer Service told me that they have never seen this problem before, that is hard to believe with all of the F350s on the road. However, I was told that I could use the rear plates on their own.

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle
Works great. Easy to install.
These bags are amazing. Make the rear end ride pretty rough so I put deaver add a packs from carli and did the day star buckets for the bags. Now they are connected when I need them, and disconnected when I dont. Pretty awesome set up. I've put 5200 pounds of rock in the bed of my truck, the rock yard thought I was crazy but then I aired up the bags. You should of seen their faces. Rode level, sat at about 85 psi and rode like a caddy.

Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
This set was a replacement for the ones on my F350 that were already on the truck. Everything went back together with ease once the old bracket were removed. With one air compressor air is is delivered to the air-ride system one the truck is started. I pill a fifth-wheel with a tongue weight of around 3600 pounds. With this system I'm able to level out the truck.
Installation took about 2.5 hours with just me installing it. Install went smooth and all the parts and hardware were correct. Driver side took longer than the passenger side. Also located the air fill valves inside the gas fill lid for easy access. Have not put a load on the truck yet but should not be an issue. The last 2 photos is where I installed the air fill valves.

Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Well, let me start off by saying up front, that if you plan on installing this kit by yourself without a car lift, your going to be doing a lot! of crawling around under the vehicle. I started at 9am and finished at 5:30 with no breaks. Hard work for a 65 year old dude. Remove both tires and the spare for easy access. Whom ever put together the instructions for install did an absolutely excellent job! They were very easy to understand and concise. The photos where spot on and clear FOR MY VEHICAL. Not some generic photo that covers any vehicle. The kit was very well put together with all the parts required to assemble everything. I didn't have to supply or substitute any nut, bolt or fitting. Once the kit and the pump was finished being installed, I powered it up and inflated the bags. There where no leaks and everything thing worked perfectly. This is a first for most anything I install, seems like I most always screw up the installation or have to reengineer the kit to fit my needs. Not this time! Everything went together great and worked awesome. My hat's off to the team that designed and put this kit together and to Rochelle in customer service, who was professional and kind in helping me get the right suspension kit for my truck. Thanks to all the folks at etrailer you know what your doing and live up to they hype. BTW I learned about this kit on You Tube from a full time RV'er.
I have a 2020 Ford F-250 Lariat FX diesel and I pull a 2022 Jayco Eagle HT fifth wheel with a GVWR of 10,995 lbs. I noticed when I was hooked up to my trailer and raised my landing gear the back of my truck would squat causing my headlights to shine somewhat into the sky and sometimes while traveling the interstate in construction zones the ride was rough. So I decided to add airbags. I chose the Air Lift Load Lifter 7500 XL Air helper springs(#AL55FJ). I had them installed by a local garage and he did a great job installing them. I love the end result a much smoother ride and the braking seems smoother also I can easily level off my truck with the 7500 XL Air lift system allowing my headlights to shine straight out now. I give these guys five stars. In addition to adding the Air Lift 7500 XL system I also had the Air Lift Wireless Air compressor System(#AL58WQ) installed and it is Bluetooth, compatible on my iPhone which is amazing. I can control the lift on my bags individually or paired together with the touch of my phone. No stopping and getting out in the rain or looking for an air hose. I can sit in my cab or get out and increase or decrease the amount of air in my Air Lift system. I can also do it manually if I so choose. In the photo you can see where I mounted the two air fitting on my crossmember right below the compressor on the frame. There were already two holes there so and can be accessed easily. I am very satisfied with my compressor system and I give this a thumbs up in addition to the five stars.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
After emails with firestone, in which many disagreements came to light. My vehicle is a 2002 f350 dually Crew cab 8ft bed, completely stock no alterations at all. First issue was the emergency brake Cable was in the way. I rerouted the cable sent photos to firestone. The person in which I communicated with, stated that my brake line was not stock OEM. The emergency brake cable was the issue not brake line and the person at firestone doesn't know the difference between brake cable and line. In the photo sent showed my rear brake line that was just replaced and it was shiny. The brake line replacement was OEM. The brake line was not an issue at all. I have photos showing how we had to modify the firestone air bags set up. I welded straight to the axle. The bags will work now after hours of mods....if anyone else has a vehicle like the one stated above please let them know mods will be required. This isn't my first issue with firestone air bags. I had to prove to firestone that I had a pin hole in a seam on a air bag. I had to submerge the air bag in water, take a video and send it to them. They did send a replacement after a while. Just had to say this.......
2003 Ford F250 CC FX4. This kit came with the wrong lower and saddle brackets. After reading the other reviews, I see I’m not the only one with this problem. I had to do heavy alteration and remanufactured the brackets to fit. Otherwise I’d give it fives stars.

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
When it arrived the box was open but FedEx did an excellent job and everything was still inside, the boxes should be strapped they're only glued. But the product is excellent, on a 2023 F450 it was perfect fitment. The airbags are well made and provide for a smooth ride, it helped my shaking issue at highway speeds.
I just bought a new 2019 Ford F250 to pull my new fifth wheel. The pin weight of the fifth wheel caused the bed of my truck to drop a few inches so I bought the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Helper Springs and the Air Lift One wireless on board compressor to raise the bed back up to level. I installed all of it myself after watching the etrailer installation videos. I think somewhere they mention it being a 2-3 hour job. Well...if you do it every day, then it probably is. It took me the better part of a day to get it done. The first thing i did was remove the spare tire for easier access. I also tried to install the airbags without lifting the truck. Actually, I did install one side without lifting and it wasn't that hard. However, there is a nut on the bottom bracket that is between the airbag and the leaf spring that is impossible to tighten without lifting the truck body. Even after lifting the body, it was still very difficult to access/tighten. Instead of drilling a hole for the schrader valve, I used a couple of oversized washers and installed it in a hole on the hitch frame that was already there. The Air Lift One, I installed on the frame, on the drivers side of the vehicle and just forward of the gas tank. This is really about the only place on the frame without wiring of some sort. I got the EZ mount but didn't use the large U-bolt as I didn't find any place it would work. Instead, i just drilled a couple of starter holes in the frame and used the provided self-tapping screws. I also wired the hot and always-on wires together and directly to an upfitter wire under the hood. I had no trouble getting the wireless remote to communicate with the compressor and it works great. Now, with my fifth wheel attached to the truck, I can add air and level the truck back to factory heights. Overall, the install wasn't that hard and would have been super easy with a truck lift. The people at etrailer were great when made my order and will definitely give them a call again.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Towed my 12k fifth wheel with my '23 super duty once before purchasing these. Night and day difference! The springs reduced the side to side sway and wallowy ride. My initial tow it felt more like a bumper pull than fifth wheel, now back to feeling very stable. The truck still squats pretty good but not as much.
While these worked great for the first few months and helped level the load, they have now become deformed and squished out of shape permanently. We have a slide in camper that is on the truck for only for trips otherwise the truck is unloaded and off the bumps. I did not expect them to deform so much, and so easily after only a year of use.

Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Service - Rear Axle
Makes for a very rough ride without weight in the rear of the truck. Fit was not as advertised had to jack up the rear of the truck just to get them on not even half inch of space. But they do help with the weight of my camper in the back of my truck.
A year ago, I added Timbrens to my '09 F350 to help carry a '09 Lance 915 camper. Since my truck is a CC LB diesel model, the truck payload and loaded weight of my camper are similar. I found the Timbrens a cost effective way to limit the suspension sag and improve truck/camper sway. When unloaded, I rarely notice the Timbrens as they are ~1.5" away from the spring pack stop and only engage on large bumps. I also like the maintenance free aspect of Timbrens. To further enhance the loaded ride, I am replacing the thin factory contact pads on my overload springs with larger ones. I found that adding the Timbrens limited suspension travel such that it prevented adequate overload spring engagement with the factory pads. The replacement overload pads from Torklift and Supersprings are 3" (too much IMO as they contact the overload spring nearly all the time making for a rough ride). I am cutting down a set of Superstops to ~1.5 - 2" for the right amount of overload spring contact and Timbren engagement but still maintaining unloaded ride quality.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Not driven under load, but think it is the answer. I may have to remove the spacer. I had to have them installed, not as easy /smooth as their video portrays. The instructions do not advise as what it suppose to look like (for F350 SRW) . IE: barely touching the axel? Above the axle? The 2800 load was recommended, I will follow up after my RV trip. I want it to set level, but not ride stiff W/O a load.
So managing a travel nurse's life we tow all over the country.. The Sumo spring has helped tremendously with ride level and stability for tens of thousands of miles in this first year.. With no hassle of leaky air hoses or blown bags along your ride it is by far one of the easiest ways to help support your load!!!!

Firestone Airide Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
OK, so I love the way these work but I had issues with the printed instructions. They were not clear as to whether I needed to use the axle support bracket when I have the Jounce Supports. I installed the bags once with the axle brackets installed (and things just didn't fit well). I then looked up the online instructions which were different and clearer and indicated NOT to use the axle support brackets if you have Jounce Supports. So I had to remove and reinstall the airbags a 2nd time in order to get the bags to sit right and install tight to the Jounce Supports. I'd recommend having the Online instructions handy ILO the printed instructions that come with the kit.
While the kit is a great product, this is the second truck I have installed Firestone Airbags on, this kit does not fully work with my 2024 F350 CCSB 7.3 4:30 geared FX4 Platinum, I had to modify the drivers side bottom plate to clear the Monoblock brake bracket on the axle. Adjust several brackets to get clearances. My total install time was 8hrs with all the modifications and double checks required. I still suggest the product, but some additional product development needs to take place to truly call this plug and play and somehow get the install to 2.5 hours as it states.

Good product, quick service. Took a couple hrs to install and very happy with the results
Air Lift air springs are good and dependable, use them for the last 25 years on three pick-ups always worked great. My complaint would be against the lousy packaging which came with two or three holes and all messed up, luckily all that was missing was one washer.

Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I have not towed anything yet. I pull a 42' 5th wheel RV and from what everyone tells me, these bags make a huge difference. I'm full time living in an RV so I don't have a shop or all the tools that would have made this a bit more easy. First of all, unless you have a lot of time and patience, this is a tough job for one person. Do yourself a favor and get an air socket wrench. This would cut down on install time considerably. I don't remember the size, but if you have a dually like I do, have a set of ratcheting box end wrenches. Thankfully, the guy helping me had a set and I don't know how we would have done one of the brackets without it. Watch some youtube videos for some helpful hints. Go to the manufacturers website for videos. Read through the directions a couple times first. Especially pay attention to the specifics of Left and Right, and sway bar or no sway bar. The directions aren't horrible, but they aren't great either. Divide your hardware, put them in zip lock bags and label them, using the parts list in the front of the book. Also, have a breaker bar on hand. My buddy and I had never installed these before. Neither of us are certified mechanics, but have a pretty good understanding of mechanics and we know how to turn a wrench. This install took us about 6 hours (note, this does not include the hour or so that I spent putting the bags together on a previous day). To raise and lower, we used a bottle jack under the rear hitch. You don't need to raise it off the ground, but you need to get it as high as you can without going off the ground. I will try to come back and add my 2 cents on the performance aspect after we head out with the RV. As always, etrailer was very helpful and I had a speedy delivery.
I installed the air lift system and could not be happier. The truck now rides very smooth even with a heavy load. Great product addition to my truck.

TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnect - Lower Overload Springs - Stainless Steel
I purchased this item to use on my 1999 Chevrolet Silverdo 1500 which I suspect had spent most of it's life hauling a fifth wheel trailer all over America. The springs seemed weak so I first tried installing coil over shocks on the rear. These proved to be defective and instead of going that route again I found Stableload. The installation was simple and quick and I am happy with the results. I leave the Stableloads in full time because I find my truck to be much more stable with less roll on curves and corners. I believe I have much better control of my truck during my daily commute over a rough, twisty backroad.
This product has met my needs, it is simple to use. I installed them on my F250 and I pull a 37' bumper pull RV. My only complaint is that sometimes when disengaging the Torklifts they can be wedged pretty tight, I use a pry bar to spread the springs to help with this.

So there's a lot of options to really consider when choosing the best suspension for your vehicle. One of those is gonna depend on what package you have on your truck. Another thing to take into account is how often you're hauling and what you are hauling exactly and how heavy those loads are.
Installing the SuperSprings SuperSway Stops on a 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna talk about super springing super sway stops on our 2018 Ford F 350. Now this is gonna be a great addition to your truck for just helping out that suspension. It's great also for working with anything else. Like if you have any type of airbags put on here, it'll still help it out just 'cause this actually needs a lot of travel to engage. It's really designed for those really heavy payloads you have in the back of the vehicle, whether that be an in bed camper or just some really heavy goosenecks on the back of your truck.
TorkLift StableLoad Rear Suspension Upgrade Installation - 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Hi there, Super Duty owners. Today in your 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Torklift's StableLoad Suspension Enhancement System. These are available with either a black powder coat finish or stainless steel, and there are two different kits available, depending if you need to drill holes in your overload springs, or if you have preexisting holes in your overload springs. You can use our fit guide to help you determine the appropriate kit to get. But it's always a good measure to just double-check your overload springs and looks for holes. You can see here where our bolt runs down through our overload spring, this is where you're going to want to look to see if you have a hole there or not. If there's no hole, you'll need the kit that comes with a couple of drill bits.
