Best 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RV Cargo Carriers

I put this on a v nose cargo trailer, which I did not think it work. It did work, but I had to replace the manual jack. The product works as advertised and is very sturdy. Totally happy with it.

This is our 2 nd Stromberg purchase from e trailer. I would not own a tow behind camper with out one! I’d give 10 stars if available

Solved some storage problems for my rv, just gotta drill a bunch of holes in the bottom to let water drain out. Don't store anything in the bins that can't get wet.

I mounted this on my toy hauler XLR about a foot from the entrance door works well had to drill holes into the bottom of the storage container as water from the rain will fill it up. The two rubber hinges that are riveted to the container lid pretty much suck rivets and the rubber strap will not hold in place need to make a hard mesh strap that will hold in place. Holds up to 100 pounds I can fit my 50 amp fifty foot cable inside one side and all my water hoses and filters in the other. I also fabricate a flat piece of metal and added a slots to slide it into for security.

Cargo Carrier works great. I have been over 7000 miles with it carrying coolers and a generator haven't had any problems at all. It frees up alot of space in the truck bed. I like that it folds up when not in use.

The product is good, it needed some tweaking when I put everything together it had a bow in the middle which made it a little difficult to get the middle pin in the bracket. One of the plastic end caps was broken and keeps falling out. Overall the product does exactly as it is meant to.

The 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper-Steel- Folding - 500 lbs Item the carrier is now over 1 year old and a great addition to our travel trailer. I did install a pair of bumper supports as it is only attached to the bumper, which is only welded to the trailer frame, if the weld breaks you can lose it while driving down the road. The other thing I did was add a pair of trailer directional lights on the cargo carrier. First it does extend out 2 feet from the back of the trailer and if you put something tall in the carrier it can cover one of the directional/brakes lights on the back of the trailer. Those two additions definitely give you peace of mind in not causing a roadway accident.

Item as described. Good heavy grade power coated metal frame. Strong boxes. 6 flanges to attach the unit to the frame. More storage than anticipated. Drawers are easy to lock in place so they don’t slide in or out. As others have said, the lids have a hole so you can open them. There is no gasket around the top. So between those two items and the fact that the lid can bounce around when driving, if it’s raining, you can easily see how water would get in the boxes. No way to lock the lids closed so no one slides the drawers out and opens the lids to take your things. Would have been nice to have a small sheet included with bolt size suggestions without having to hunt for the info. So know the downfalls of the unit, but we are still very happy with our purchase. There is nothing that we can’t resolve on our own. So happy with the space, even thinking about maybe adding a second unit.

We installed this on our toy hauler, we keep straps and stuff from the garage in the box, and beer. Our only complaint was it is not water or dust tight. But we keep our stuff in totes, inside the storage area. Check the width of the frame you are attaching to, the brackets may have to be cut off and welded. Also watch backing in somewhere, if you back in a low area, like a ditch, the bottom of the box may rub.

Delivered early!! Received an email from Carol checking in us which was nice. Once we put it together and try it out on our next 1500 mile trek we will review again. Using it for our generator on our camper.

This rack is stout! I've mounted a 10k watt inverter generator to it, along with welding a custom bumper on which to mount the etrailer rack... & it is absolutely rock-solid. The build quality of the etrailer cargo carrier is top-notch. I highly recommend it!

I had this professionally installed, with fabricated brackets on the belly mid fifth wheel. This unit will need creativity no matter on what you install it. That being said, I love it. It allows storage of electrical, and water/sewer hook up supplies, so I can back in, and do full hook up before opening any storage bin on camper or opening slides. The spare tire holder hangs with tire low enough you could have issue cresting a rise in driveway or possibly railroad crossing type rise. Again we install it in the middle of 36 foot fifth wheel by steps mid vehicle so it gets enough lift we have not drug the tire yet. I highly recommend this unit but it takes planning for installation, which means get the specs and assess your rig well prior to buying it. It is exactly as described, and is clearly labelled it is for "universal use"

Great for moving spare tire to under trailer. Great extra storage, however storage boxes are not sealed. Trip thru Alaska and Canada worked great but boxes always full of water and dirt. Had to drill extra drain hole to keep up with water coming around lis. Still worth having.

Product looked good but parts were not black anodized like they were on the website.

I ordered the wrong floor mats for my RV by mistakenly giving the incorrect chassis number. My fault not etrailer's . Everyone from the order department and customer service was so helpful to discover that no manufacturer they deal with makes floor mats for a Ford F53 chassis. These people bend over backwards for you and as a customer that has dealt with many suppliers over the years, I can tell you that I really appreciate it. etrailer is my first choice for parts and accessories from now on.

Fitment and workmanship is first class. Perfect companion to fill the space when we replaced factory steps with Lippert SolidStep on our 2013 Surveyor fifth wheels. Fits perfect, easy install, looks factory...I Like It !

Great product. Would be a five star rating except for two things. First, they should never throw the bracket in the Box to bang around inside the Box unwrapped during shipping. It scars up the box inside. Secondly, they forgot to put in the four bolts needed to secure the box to the bracket.

Good solid product and will make a difference . Quality item. One little mounting challenge/- the screws attaching the bars to the trailer ladder face outward, away from the trailer . As such, I had to lay on the top of my trailer roof extending my hand downward in order to insert and then tighten the screws with a wrench.if the screws faced inward mounting would have been a snap but this engineering goof made installation awkward .

This is a well built device for hanging camp chairs on your RV. Easy to install although you have to be careful which side goes where as there is a Left side and a Right side. I mounted my unit directly to the back of my camper as there is no ladder. It was an easy installation. The brackets easily hold two folding chairs, three might be a tight fit. I only had one problem that was nothing to do with the design or anything, and that is when you drive your RV on dusty or muddy gravel roads the chairs will get very dirty and will have to be rinsed off when you get to your destination.

Works very well. Still in use after one year. I use small electric wires as twists for extra insurance that clips stay close during rough-road travel. Access to ladder has not been encumbered. I would purchase again.

Good product, holds at least two chairs, depending on the chair sizes and construction. Might be improved if the space between the arm and the clamp was deeper so that chairs with larger diameter tubes could be carried with the clamps locked closed. Regardless, I recommend the product and would buy it again.

This is the ideal solution for the space left when you remove the factory steps. I store all of my sockets, ratchets, torque wrench, etc. for checking trailer lug nuts and setting up my weight distribution hitch. Perfect!

I had one of these before and realy liked it, sold my trailer and it went with it, a lot of chairs you cannot use these on, I have those chairs that rock ( have the hydraulic cylinder on them ) and this carrier works realy slick.

I picked up an RVQ model 2000 grill recently and needed the mount for the side of my trailer. This rail has the same geometry as the model 2000’s mounting rail. Item was shipped and delivered very quickly. I installed it today using aluminum rivets and silicone. Overall, great experience.
