my boyfriend said it was very very easy to install compared to the last cross bar we have. It seems very sturdy too. Fit our 2017 Toyota RAV4 perfectly.
2017 Toyota RAV4I picked these roof racks to support the width of my roofbox. The OEM roofbars that came with my 2017 Toyota Rav4 did not have a wide enough bar space to support my bars, nor did they have a load capacity instilling much confidence. These bars are excellent. They're simple, straight forward, support a bunch of weight, all with one major downside. There is an insane amount of wind noise. If i don't have a box on the bars, there is a terribly loud howling at any speed over 40. To remedy this, I just leave a bungee cord wound around the front bar when I don't have a load on there. It's irritating, but it does the job. I'd advise getting the aero bars instead. They're supposed to have much less road noise, and they're not much more in cost.

I was very pleased with the product, how it looked, the heavy weight of the metal cross bars, and the ease of installation. The only problem was that a couple items that were part of the purchase were not in the box, but after a brief phone call the items are being shipped to me.
The shipping was really fast! The rails fit our RAV4 pretty well. The brackets need to open a little wider believe it or not. They scratched my factory rails. The shipping box was open on both ends, but nothing was missing. Par for the course with a heavy item in a cardboard box. They'll definitely get the job done!

2007 Toyota RAV4Have been rocking my Yakima rack from etrailer.com for a year now. I am using rack in conjunction with a Tepui tent. Once I added the air deflector, I would say it's the perfect setup. The Yakima gives more clearance over the factory rack, so I was able to get my hands under it to secure the tent hardware. I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4
This is my second rhinorack crossbars for use on an SUV WITHOUT pre-existing factory rail ( ie "naked", it is a clamp system that goes around the edges where the frame goes in for the doors). My first was on my subaru 2010 Forrester, this one for my 2023 RAV4. I am overall very pleased with the product, my subaru had it on for years, without issues. The RAV4 product looked the same, but I had to change a couple of the measurements by a few MM for a tight fit, unlike with the subaru. The measurement sheet they send is specific for your make and model, and I just don't think it was exact for my RAV4. However, the hardware is the same and works the same and is solid. I'm not sure why they gave me 2 extra taller bases for the rear crossbars, they just didn't look right and I used the the 4 bases that came in the box, rather than the 2 extra slightly taller ones they sent for use on the rear crossbars. in other words, they sent me six bases. One star off for the slightly inexact measurements. Aside from being solid and doing the job, the best feature is the PRICE, compared to having the dealer install rails, or a company installing a similiar product, which was about double what I paid, plus a couple hours of work and jiggering.

I’ve had this roof rack system for about a year now and it has worked consistently well for the entire 12 months and I believe will continue to work well for me for the for seeable future. I gave it four stars initially and four stars now because I do think the fit and finish of the system could be better. That’s not a dealbreaker for its function because it’s excellent in doing the work it’s designed to do but it just isn’t the prettiest. Great rack, buy it... it will work hard for you. This fits our 2019 Toyota RAV4 Adventure no problems! The install video on etrailer was a huge help! Take your time with the bolts. They can be a bit tricky. We found some of the weld nuts had a little angle to them. Also, the right side is a very tight spot to work in. I used a slim ratchet to make life easier.
I had to warranty the bars because the rubber strips that seal the attachment channel would not stay attached. Blew off on the highway. Poor design. Thule warranty is awesome, They sent me 2 new sets. Still wouldnt attach securely. Thule sent me a new set of bars. I already bought some square bars. I dont even want to use the wing bars. I want aerodynamic profile not the rubber strips.

Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 47" Long - Qty 2
Really nice quality items, go together easily. My only beef is the fit of this model for the 2016 RAV4. As the front of the factory bars curve outwards, you have to slide the front wingbar backwards quite a bit to allow it to mount. It doesn't seem to be a problem for my use (kayak carrier), but it's worth noting.
Easy install and look great on our new RAV4. Feel very secure.

The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.
The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.

DIY Install: Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack on your 2017 Toyota RAV4
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be test-fitting the Malone airflow 2 roof rack system, part number MPG215. These easy to install crossbars are economical with all the premium features. These will install on your factory side rails with the minimum distance of 27 1/2 inches. The foot packs simply clamp onto your factory rails and come with an included lock mechanism to keep your system secure. The key to install it is also included on two of your foot pads. The back pad is adjustable and has a nice rubber foot to prevent any scratches on your factory rails, and they can easily be moved back and forth to suit your needs.
