Don't waste your money buy tow mirrors

Good product, not a perfect fit on a 2017 2500, but it will stay.

Mirrors fit well and they look like OEM. They do vibrate some at speeds above 60 MPH. However they still help gain better vision when pulling a trailer.

Ordered several items. Took forever to ship. RV cover still not received. Hitch packaging was destroyed by UPS. Not UPS fault, packaging was lame for such a heavy part. As a result, hitch finish was damaged, but since hitch was going to be installed under vehicle, let it go. Mirror extensions shipped in display carton, again destroyed by UPS. Somehow extensions survived in reasonable shape. These guys don't seem to inventory parts, seems like they are just a website with some customer service. Will not order from etrailer.com again.

Mirrors did not fit at all. I searched using my vehicle 2016 Ram truck 2500. They were not even close to fitting.

Fit right on very fast install and blends very well with factory mirrors. I would make this purchase again if I had too.

Very good mirrors for the camper

I quit using them because they were too small and hard to keep them adjusted to the 2019 Grand Cherokee mirrors. In one opportunity I had to drive back to recover the passenger side mirror lost in the driving wind. Thank you!

Installed toe mirrors on my 2018 Ram 2500 Tonight all works great Turn lights, temp sensor, adjustment, and auto folding. After Ram said I could not get tow mirrors added with my sales Code Noah at e trailer assured me there’s would work he was correct. I am very pleased with purchase. I ordered this type of mirror because of the ratcheting mechanism. It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to slide the strap through the ratcheting mechanism. Otherwise a great product.

Initial thoughts r satisfied. Fit is perfect and easy install. I will take my first trip with them in 5 days and if they hold solid they will be 100% better than what i had b4. It took me 2 miles b4 i saw the trooper trying to pull me over last time with my lame mirrors … hope if i am speeding this trip i will see them sooner …..

Mirrors are nice quality, easy to install and work as expected. Very pleased with the purchase.

Installation was straight forward after watching Youtube videos for mirror R&R. This is important since there are no instructions in the box. Keep in mind that higher level trim trucks will have more wiring than many of the videos depict. My Laramie Longhorn had additional wiring for the mood light at the interior door latch and the door threshold lighting. I put blue Loctite on the mirror studs and used the supplied nuts with integral washer. Very happy with the purchase. Mirrors look great with stock appearance. Power folding, adjust and heating work as designed. Great product.

The mirrors really improve visibility over the stock mirrors. Installation is easy if you find a good video online. No instructions were included. Good quality materials in the construction. All functions work just like the stock mirrors.

I have had the mirrors installed for one year now. They look as good as the first day they were installed! No fading even in this El Paso, TX heat and sun exposure. I have received several positive comments from strangers that they look as if they are OEM (came with the vehicle) and are surprised to hear they are in fact aftermarket! I like the additional width of view they provide especially when towing my 28' travel trailer, as well as the ease of changing them back and forth between horizontal and vertical configurations.

After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.

These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

Easy install .

Installed these today on my 2015 Ram Crew Cab 2x4 Tradesman - a very simple install. The passenger mirror seemed a little malformed at the forward triangle tip as it did not sit flush against the vehicle like the driver side. I even loosened the nuts and started with the forward nut in case that would help. It did not. :-/ With the foam gasket underneath and the fact that a “leak” in that area would drain outside of the door, I am not overly concerned. I was able to drive with them in the regular position and it is a totally new experience that will take some position tweaking and getting used to. Solid mirrors. Extended them and backed up to my 36’ travel trailer. I can clearly see the sides of the trailer. Sweet. As warned, the now-new-to-the-truck mirror-mounted puddle lamps and turn signals will need to be flashed (programmed) by a dealer or auto shop to make them work on the mirrors. So I will get that done by an auto shop after I install an OEM brake controller which will also need to be flashed after install. So two birds with one stone.

This is the 2nd mirror I have ordered. On my 2nd trip using the towing mirror's the driver side came loose going down the highway, but I was able to catch it before it fell off. The passenger fell off and I'm not sure when. I think the mirror's do a good job as far as seeing behind you while towing a RV. Before I use them again, I'm going to add a small bungee cord to hold it in place. This should keep it secure enough while going down the road. I hope the manufacturer reads this. With the mounting screw being plastic, you try not to over tighten the screw to keep it from stripping. A added strap would be a great improvement. My brother in law also purchased a set and thought some kind of strap would make him feel better about the way they were mounted.

Doesn't fit my truck

They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.

Bought these for my 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman. They fit fairly well, but not as snug as I thought the would; there's some gaps but they do not wobble as the foam helps seat them. Plastic attachment pieces seem as high quality as they can be for being plastic.

After a year of using these on my 2022 Ram 1500 while towing my travel trailer I have found nothing to complain about. They fit perfect, work as designed. Install and remove very easy with no damage to my mirrors and the power fold option still works perfect. Signal lights and puddle lights still work as designed with the mirrors on as well.

The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.

So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

They are fading pretty bad even after always cleaning them and regularly washing and coating.

Wiring doesn't fit my truck though it says it dies

So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.

The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

Great product. Quality construction. Could not tell any difference between this product and the original. Took about 45 minutes to install. Any one with a basic car repair knowledge should have no trouble. One person can install but two is helpful and make installation go quickly.

Had to replace my driver side mirror. Great price for the product So I was a little worried about the quality. When I received it I took it out and it matched to other Side in color and looks. Profile was a little different so I had to tighten the bolts up slowly and rotate tightening* to get a snug fit. Operates good, only real difference is the mirror motor is quite a bit louder than the other side but won’t hear it with the engine running or windows up. Excellent price, looks good, and free shipping. I would come back again.

Right product. I like the good communication via email. Got item a week prior then initial quoted when item would be delivered.

Just installed these mirrors. Shipping was very quick and mirrors were heavier than expected. No vibration whatsoever and field of view is far superior to what I had on my 2004 GMC 2500 HD with factory power/heated/LED turn signal with power extending. Of course, I lost the power extending which is fine with me. The old mirrors who the flatter stye is no convex mirror built in. Very glad I replaced them. etrailer is an excellent company to deal with.

These are Quality Mirrors, very sturdy. Took me about an hour on the first side, (learning curve) but the second side was 1/2 of that. Makes the truck look great and can't believe what a difference they make for field of view. As for function my truck was set up for the turn signal and power mirrors and they work great.
