Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
The product was well made and easy to use, what more could you ask!
The Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rake for 2 bikes is a good product. I used it to transport my mountain e-bike. I choose this particular unit because it can handle the weight 2 of bikes (non-e-bikes) and the weight of my e-bike is equivalent to weight of 2 bikes. Note: Must readjust the straps after mounting the bike to the rake.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I was sent additional mounting materials that don't correspond with my hitch or my bike rack. See the photo below. Are these materials for my Swagman STC2 Bike Rack Item #S64670?
Very stable and simple to use bike rack that works great with my road bike AND with my 29" Big Rippers. It makes loading and unloading the bikes a snap and they are safe and secure for traveling once loaded and secured. I have already logged over a thousand miles hauling bicycles with this rack and highly recommend it. I am a big fan of Yakima roof racks but, honestly, wish I would have went with this setup for my bikes from the beginning.

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Great product for the price. Pretty easy to set up. Only issue I have is my mountain bike, which is an XL frame with 27 inch wheels, is pushing the limits of the base. Wish this rack was just 4-5 inches longer that way you have the perfect overlap amount in the middle without pushing the current frame to the limits. With that said it does hold my bike just have to find the sweet spot. But this fits my son’s youth bike perfectly!
As always with products I buy from e-Trailer, this item is exactly as advertised and works perfectly. Easy assembly, I bought 2 but only installed one until I check the fit with my rooftop carrier.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
The straps are junk and four of them tore within a week of using them. I also almost lost one bike because of the straps. If I could I would return this unit.
We used this bike rack for at least 2 RV trips. The third trip we took we lost one bike off of the rear most rack. Ended up having to replace this bike rack with one from another store. Would only recommend for local trips only.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Bought some tail light lenses for my fishing boat trailer good price came quickly Great service put a bike rack also easy to put together takes minutes to put on and takeoff rack $200 cheaper than my neighbor same bike rack then I bought a ball hitch extension 18 inch to keep my wrangler that we Toby hind the motorhome from hitting the back bumper when I make a sharp turn I’m sure that should take care of the problem everything I bought from the trailer our quality products quality service and everything they ship always comes on time personally I think etrailer rocks
Works great with the draw tite hitch I purchased from etrailer. Fits the Pacifica hybrid van very well, and folds up nice for storage behind the rear seats. - Note: the rack needs to be empty and folded down in order to open the rear hatch. All good.

Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Super easy to load 4 bikes and go. Takes me 5 minutes to get all 4 on the rack, compared to 15-20 with the rack I had before. I would change nothing honestly. It's a fantastic rack. It has performed great. I can now quickly load 2 kids bikes and 2 adult bikes on the rack with no special adapters. We can hit trails faster and spend more time riding. There is no real downside. It's also significantly cheaper than competitors and provides a much easier and smooth experience. Is it a great rack for small families who want to ride together. No adapters needed for different sized bikes and super easy to load and unload. I would not recommend this particular model if you don't plan on using more than 2 slots. But for 3 or 4 it rules.
One year in and it is great. I have a 2021 Subaru accent and it is perfect. We carry 4 adult bikes and while it is a tight fit it works great. The rack is VERY solid and does not move when tightened up. Over the past year we have used it 3-4 times with no issues so far. It is easy to use and one person can easily load and unload the bikes. The tilt up feature is nice and when the rack is down and there are no bikes we can open the back hatch without an issue and there is plenty of clearance. We have been very happy with the performance and the price.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This Yakima 5 bike rack is exactly what I needed. It's very easy to mount and very sturdy.
Rack is very easy to install and remove, and fits well with no rattle in the 2" receiver. Loading bikes is easy and it will, indeed, hold 5 bikes with relatively little effort. The only negatives I have are 1) Unless I use Yakima's custom locking cable for this rack, there is no good way to lock bicycles to the rack 2) It wasn't clear to me that I would need adapter bars (8002531) for kids bikes. I've always managed to get them on my older racks, but not the Yakima. I suspect that most modern racks would need these bars. Overall, very satisfied.

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Performed perfectly on a 140 mile round-trip in my 2017 Acura MDX. It took me a few tries to position the anchors inside the top of the hatch, but I got the hang of it and the rack did not shift at all while driving 50-60 mph on the highway.
This product is steady, but heavy and I'm not sure it's good for RAV4 2024. I used it one time with 3 bicycles, and the lower touching part made the trunk door dented because of the pressure.

SportRack Ridge Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Swing Away
One Year Later – Still Going Strong I’ve owned this rack for a year now, and I couldn’t be happier. It securely holds all 4 of my bikes, even on longer road trips, with no shifting or wobble. One of my favorite features is the ability to tilt the rack away from the vehicle—even when it's fully loaded. That’s a huge convenience and makes it super practical for daily use. Durable, easy to use, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable 4-bike solution.
This bike rack has worked well for us. We have a Jeep Wrangler, with the spare tire on the back of the tailgate, and needed a rack that would hold the bikes in a trailer hitch, and swing away so we could easily access the rear storage of the jeep. This has worked out perfectly! I did have to use a hitch extender to clear the rear tire, but that was expected. The rack works well, holds the bikes as expected, and is easy to use, and get on and off the vehicle. I am very satisfied!

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Received carrier in three days after ordering. Great service.
I installed this rack onto a Curt trailer hitch which is mounted onto a 2017 Honda Fit. I have been using it intermittently for several months, probably about 5 times with one bike and twice with two bikes. I give some pros and cons below and then elaborate. Pros: easy to assemble, easy to mount and dismount bikes, easy to lock and unlock, how to put the rack into different positions is intuitive Cons: inconvenient to put the rack into different positions, inconvenient to mount the rack onto the hitch, rack protrudes about 15 inches from bumper when in flipped up position (seems very vulnerable to someone backing into it in a parking lot, very inelegant looking I say the repositioning is intuitive because there is really only one way you could possibly place the pins for each position. But removing and replacing two pins is much less convenient than turning a knob or a lever, like some racks do. Also many racks fold and flip in such a way as to look very unobtrusive when in non-use mode. This one looks like kind of a monstrosity. That does not really bother me but it might bother some owners. The part that does bother me is how far it protrudes from the car. I back into parking spaces whenever possible to avoid someone bumping into the rack and damaging it (which happened to a friend). My number one suggestion for Curt is related to mounting the rack onto the hitch. Make it easier to tell when the holes are lined up so that the bolt/pin will fit and thread. As it is now, if you insert the rack as far as it can go it is way too far in. Ideally, it would be exactly lined up. Failing that, maybe some kind of click or other feedback to know at least that you are in the neighborhood. It would also be great to have an attaching device that is easier to fasten and unfasten than is the bolt/pin. Tip for mounting the rack onto the hitch: I assumed that it would be awkward to hold, what is it 46 pounds?, while trying to line up the rack probe with the receiver. If you have a garage with exposed collar ties, my solution could work well for you. I looped a cargo strap over a collar tie. Then I hooked both hooks of a bungie onto that loop. The idea is that you hook one of the bike frame holders of the rack onto the bungie, suspending the rack a few inches off the garage floor. This takes most of the weight of the rack so that you can just pull up or down and forward until you line up with the receiver. Tip for mounting bikes. Don't put the little screw into the post that prevents you from completely removing the bike frame holders. Remove both holders. Position the first bike, slide the holder into place, position the second bike, slide the holder into place. I found this makes it much easier, because you avoid parts of the bike hitting the holder as you are trying to get the wheels into place. The trick is that if you are mounting only one bike, don't forget to put the second holder back on - or maybe just stick it inside the car right away.

Rhino-Rack XTray Pro Cargo Basket and 2 Bike Carrier - Steel - 58-1/4" x 41" - 165 lbs
The Rhino Rack has been the perfect addition to my Outback. It looks great, and I love the built-in through-axel bike mounts. It's nice not to have to have an additional mount for my bicycles! Is this the perfect cargo basket?

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great rack. Fits 2 kids 24" mountain bikes and 2 adult mountain bikes. very sturdy construction. Make sure you get the 1st threads of the bolt in properly. With the pacifica we have the bolt is a bit tight to get in.
Rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were terrible. Locking hitch pin would not thread correctly and ended up damaging it. Thankfully the threads on rack were fine and I was able to use the non-locking threaded pin. Would like a replacement locking pin ASAP

Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
My wife and I love our bike rack and use it regularly with ease. Thank you
I have a 2017 Acura RDX. I had to be creative for the hooks and straps to work. The lower strap hook is not compatible with my hatch. And I really didn't want to have them hook under my plastic bumper, so I shut the straps in the hatch and hooked them to 2 hooks I have in the trunk. Works perfect. A picture is attached. I have a Cannondale Bad Girl, which is the dumbest bike ever designed ( but that is a different review forum) so I had to be creative getting it mounted like I usually do. Works great. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because I don't believe the hooks are really compatible with the RDX, unless you have an awesome spouse willing to get shut in the trunk and place the hooks for you while you tighten from the outside. etrailer.com has the best customer service I have dealt with in a while. Fantastic crew!

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Seems like a good rack for the price, especially when compared to others with the same weight rating. It was very easy to assemble, just a few bolts and that's it. I put two 62lb e-bikes on it (Ride1Up Turris) and it has minimal wobble and movement as expected. The straps that come on the center cradles were too short to go around our bike's frame and battery so I had to purchase a separate set of long straps from Saris for an additional $20. So be aware if you have an e-bike with a fat frame where you plan to use the cradle on, you might have to spend another $20 on a pair of long straps. While I waited for the straps I just used a velcro-strap and it worked fine. So far I am content with this rack overall and hope it lasts many years.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to purchase additional straps to make it work.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Hollywood Racks TRS SE Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
My husband and I have been raving to each other about how the etrailer site was the best site we have ever visited and ordered from, the information given was more than thorough, the prices were good, the customer service was speedy and knowledgeable, the shipment came faster than expected. The bike rack was high quality, easy to put together, fits our vehicle as the etrailer rep said it would, the bikes are easy to load and tilt, and it all travels securely. The shipment came without the hitch and bike locks, but etrailer immediately contacted the Hollywood company who honored their part list and sent it in time for our trip. Two etrailer reps kept in contact with each other and us through it all. We are extremely satisfied all around and wish we had this experience with all other businesses!
I purchased the 3500 model for a 2-inch hitch for my 2004 Toyota 4Runner. I've had it for a month now and it has worked well. It took just over an hour to assemble it and the instructions for the most part were easy to follow although it would behoove you to read it through once before you even start putting parts together. The rack has pretty much stayed on the vehicle for the past month and I use it two to three times a week to commute to work. The bike is on the rack for the 26 miles roundtrip to the ferry terminal and it hasn't given me any problems. Service and prompt delivery was much appreciated. I even noted that the link for installation instructions was broken and Anna responded immediately and I now see that it is there! One thing that my photos will show is that if you have a flat handlebar bike in the position closest to the vehicle the hatch may not fully open because the handlebar will prevent it. Not an issue with me since I use it for commuting and don't need to access the hatch. I think the price is worth it since I wanted this type of rack and it was difficult to find anything with this quality and features in the range. Four stars only because I've only had it for only a month so not sure how well it will hold up in the months to come. I also much appreciate the videos of the rack on the etrailer website. Thanks, etrailer! Arthur

Hollywood Racks TRS Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
Very Happy with the rack but disappointed lock was not included. Just purchased but had to pay $4.99 shipping.
This rack has been great on my 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV, very sturdy and holds bike(s) securely. I've used it with a fat bike, a regular mountain bike, and a road bike. Amazingly this rack gave me a couple inches MORE clearance in my small garage than my previous hanging-style rack. The aluminum trays themselves are still in great condition, though other parts are showing some rust after 1+ years (and since I use it in the winter as well I leave it on most of the time). The tilt-down feature is great, but pulling the pin and reaching the knob to do this is awkward with bikes in place. When removing the bike, it can be hard to squeeze the lever on the hook that holds the front tire. (Maybe because of pressure when the hook is against the tire?)

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This rack is heavy, easy to assemble and has zero wobble. The reason I purchased this rack was due to the quality of the rack, but also my last experience with trailer. Great customer service, and if you have a question, it's pretty easy to get hold of a real person! I actually purchased this for an Ebike.
Excellent bike rack. Easy to put together. Fits perfect with the etrailer curt hitch. This is a heavy duty bike rack, which also means it heavy but still manageable. Using this for my Aventon Ebike.

Malone Hanger Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - Adjustable Arms
Good to great product. Is easy to secure to the back of my 2012 Mazda 5 station wagon. Mounting 3 adult sized bikes took some practice to navigate through hinged braces especially with a bike that had an unconventional frame. Requires some bungee cord traction to keep front wheels from flailing around but that is probably an issue with all bike racks?

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
This bike rack has worked well for our family of 4. It allows us to safely and securely carry all 4 bikes through the mountains of Colorado with our Hallmark Milner truck camper. Strong and durable rack that barely moves when driving. etrailer's customer service was outstanding. The rack was initially delayed and after one phone call to check status a warehouse manager quickly solved a minor issue and got the rack shipped. etrailer was fantastic in managing this transaction with extremely limited staffing. etrailer is the first place I check for anything recreation as I've never had anything but stellar service.
Excellent rack, a year later still in great condition. No movement at hitch when driving like other racks. Love the extra bar to work on bike in parking lot. Cracked a part on the rack when backing up accidentally hit it, I called the company and they immediately sent out new part no questions asked and rack is like new. Easy to access the drop and raise bar even with bikes on .A note that with larger mountain bikes only three really fit on the four rack without adjusting handle bars. Thanks to etrailer for stocking a great product and providing excellent post purchase service

Hey, everybody, Jared at etrailer.com. Today I wanna look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 two-bike rack system, here in our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Now this is a premium-featured bike rack and it will allow you bikes up to 40 pounds, so most of your decent size bikes. It is wheel mounted so you can get your carbon-frame bikes to the trail. Pro Series Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Pro-Series Q-Slot platform style two and four bike rack, part number PS63138. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The most prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that you can actually remove this rear section here just to make it a two bike version. How it holds your bike in place, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two hook and loop straps on each wheel, and then we're going to have this frame hook up at the top which is padded. It's padded to ensure that your bike does not get scratched up once it's being installed. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.
Softride Element-Parallelogram Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Today in our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test-fitting the Softride Element Parallelogram Tilting Bike Rack for inch and a quarter and two-inch hitches, part number SR26248. We already have our bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The most prominent feature of this bike rack is the fact that this can actually tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached, which is pretty unique for a hanging-style bike rack. To do that, you come on the passenger side here at the mast, pull out the black T-handle, let it tilt away, and now we have full access to our rear hatch to get what we need, and plenty of space on either side to do so. We'll just push it back up into its original position until you hear a click like that. Some of the other features we have here, there are two reflective surfaces on the end here, as well as two points to attach any cable lock that you might want, to secure your bikes to the rack. The cradles are adjustable and have grooves on the side here so that your cables and things like that will actually go through those instead of being smashed by the frame.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Vertex swing-out bike rack, part number TH9031XT. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first and most prominent feature is the fact that this bike rack can swing out away from the vehicle so you can gain rear hatch access without having to take the bikes off, which is pretty unique for a hanging-style bike rack. To do that, we'll first loosen up this knob at the rear, take it out all the way, lift up on this T-handle here, and it will start to swing out. Once you get to about the 90-degree portion of it, turn it in, and you hear a little click, and then just simply push it the rest of the way. First, we'll have to remove this T-handle here in the center, and then re-insert it here. Now we have full access to our rear hatch to do what we need and plenty of space to do so.
Yakima SwingDaddy Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Swingdaddy 4 bike rack for two inch hitches, part number Y02464. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off, and the most improminent feature of this back rack, is the fact that it can swing away from the vehicle to give you full hatch access without having to remove the bikes, which is pretty unique for a hang style bike rack. To do that, you come to the back here where you have this handle, unscrew it, and lift up on this knob here to release it. Then we'll start bringing it out. Once we get to just about 90 degrees here, we're going to go ahead and swing this part around until you hear a click. Once you hear that, it's locked into this position and then you simply push it out the rest of the way. Now we have full access to our rear hatch to get what we need. To fold it back in its original position, it's very easy.
RockyMounts Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test-fitting the RockyMounts SwitchHitter Roof Bike Rack, part number RKY1270. We already have our bike installed, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off, there's going to be no frame contact at all to attach this bike to your bike rack. Instead, we have it hooked up to this skewer here at the front, which grips your bike by the fork mounts. Now, this also does work with thru-axles, and then at the rear, we have this wheel strap, which is adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate different size bikes. With the bike rack installed, coming to the rear here, you can see that there's going to be no clearance issues between our hatch and our bike rack itself. Let's go ahead and take our bike off and set it aside.

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack, part number TR02. We already have it installed on our vehicle so you can see it here. Instead it holds it by the fork mount here and the wheel strap at the rear. With this installed, I'd just like to show you, we're not going to have any interference at all between our hatch and our bike rack once it's installed. I would also like to point out at the rear we do have an integrated cable lock for additional security.
