Best 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Towing Mirrors

Needed a better extended mirror set-up. These did the trick. They fit perfect and seem to reduce vibration that is so common on add-on type mirrors. etrailer had the best price for them also.

Great fit to my truck. Parts went together well and they look good. We are using the mirrors for towing a travel trailer which makes it much easier and safer.

The mirrors fit well over my truck mirrors. Easy to install too. But! Best of all there is not shake to the mirrors. Would definitely recommend them

Installed successfully on 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, replacing factory mirrors that were power adjustable and heated - no turn signal. Motorized mirror adjustments worked fine. Haven't tested heated mirror yet. Since I did not previously have turn signals in my mirrors, the turn signals did not work on these as expected. May look into a way to make them work later, but no big deal. One improvement that could be made on these mirrors. The manufacturer is aware that the factory mirrors use 3 bolts, and these use 4. It would be nice if they would have included a nut for the 4th bolt, so I wouldn't have had to go search for one. One good thing, on my truck the hole was already there for the 4th bolt, so I didn't have to drill. Taking a trip tomorrow, so will see how they perform on the road. So far as what I have seen, I am happy with this purchase. I have used etrailer in the past and have always been happy with the products they offer.

As advertised fit was very good, worked as should would recommend these mirrors, will be used to see pulling a camper, and etrailer to purchase from. 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ four door crew cab standard bed.

Average quality. Easy install. Worth $[XX]? Time will tell. Made in China.

Mirrors work good. Very happy with them, online videos on installation helps especially with removing door trim pieces which for me was the majority of the time and difficulty. It plugged into existing wire harness and everything works like it did with OEM mirrors (able to control tilt using door buttons, etc.) I just wished they would have sent the nuts with washers like OEM. I used on the OEM original nuts since it had washer base on the 3 but had to go buy a washer for the 4th nut since the 3/8 hole almost allows nut to go through the hole.

After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.

These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

THese mirrors came in timely manner. They appear high quality. I have not used them yet but they appear as if they will work great. Have not had any issues with any etrailer products yet. Thank You!!!

Perfect fit and way better than the clip on mirrors we had previously. They look like they belong on the truck all the time.

received product and driver side mirror was locked tight to the point i thought it would break if i pushed much more. sprayed swivel ball with very little WD40 and let sit. after a while it broke free. watched video prior to purchase, said to put top on first. got mirrors and because i have cameras on my mirrors it said i need to put bottom on first. very hard to do and the top tabs makes marks on my moirrows. i would not suggest to anyone.

Driver side mirror lock component "wedge" did not fit correctly , approx 1/2 " space between mirror and wedge ,was able to make accommodations. Passenger side fit well.

Very good fit for the factory mirrors, I had only use it 1 time so far and it seems to be holding up pretty good, the one thing I wish it had is on passenger side to have a wider angle of view. Over all happy with it for the price!! Shipping was great since I upgraded to priority, I had to order another item to get I over the 99$ free shipping mark. Good product!!

So far happy with fit, install and initial quality. Product install video was helpful. Looking forward to towing travel trailer with these as the weather improves into spring.

I bought tow mirrors a year ago from etrailer.com and I couldn't ask for more they have held up very well and am pleased to recommend them.

The product in theory works well. But, on an RV trip I found the mirror laying on the ground one morning after it fell off the product. Clearly the adhesive was not very good. The mirror luckily broke in half and I was able to get it back in place to complete my trip. I then ordered a replacement part for my GMC Sierra and was sent a replacement driver side mirror for a Dodge Ram (and yes, I did order a part for a GMC.) The customer service rep was very helpful. Ended up ordering a part off of [online vendor] since I could could only get it 3+ weeks with etrailer vs 2 days with [online vendor].

I love the look, the ease of install, and certain I would have liked the function. This model does not fit my 2020 raptor. If you have like model that does fit raptor, please let me know.

Most excellent product, replacing my drivers side tow mirror because a Wild Turkey flew out from the forest and literally straight into the mirror !!!! 20 pound bird at 50mph = no more mirror !!!! Caused door metal damage too... BUT the mirrors are the best designed, best looking and best performing mirrors, before a Wild Turkey hits it at 50mph...

I originally ordered these mirrors in 2019 for my truck….4 years later I am having to replace now both of them. I replaced the passenger side in august, thought that it was just a bad mirror….The drivers side is now failing as well. For the price I expected them to last longer than 4 years on a truck that is garaged nightly and really only used for towing. The truck does not go off-road, so there is no abuse or reason both mirrors should have failed. Had I known I was going to have to replace both…I would’ve gone with a different product.

These are great mirrors when I'm towing the trailer. Wish they would slide in and out a little easier but I can deal with it.

Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

Great product for the price. I ordered the pair for my 2016 Silverado. package arrived in good shape, no problems. Easy to install and fit as designed, nice appearance. Only glitch was the passenger side mirror had a minor defect in the reflective surface. Notified etrailer and was promptly taken care of - received a replacement mirror in short order with free return. Very impressed. The passenger mirror view is a little small for me but otherwise acceptable. I previously ordered / received a Curt trailer hitch with same satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this company.

The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!

First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.

Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!
