Best 2016 Dodge Journey Trailer Tires And Wheels

I have only used the trailer a couple of times, but the wheel/tire assembly works great and still looks like new after a year out in the weather.

Just finished a harbor freight 4 x 8 trailer and turning it into a kayak trailer. Class B tires came with the trailer and I am immediately replacing them with the Kenda Class C 4.80 x 12" from etrailer.com. This gives me a higher speed tire and at least I can "feeL" safer at 65 mph or so if I have to speed a little to go around a car or on the Interstate. Very impressed with these tires and fast shipping received. Here is picture of trailer.

I needed a new set of tires for a camper I recently sold. I had bought trailer tires from etrailer in the past with great results. My expectations were met and exceeded again this time. The quality of the product, the communication, the price and the speed of delivery cannot be surpassed. I got a great set of Kenda tires on USA made rims for a great price. Tires are kind of like brake jobs, do you really want a cheap one? Sure A****n is great for a lot of stuff but I’m not going to go barreling down the road towing a trailer on poor quality tires. Do yourself a favor and get it right the first time. It’ll save you money in the long run!

Kenda tires were the OEM tires on my single axle Viking Pop Up. The original tires were weather cracked from 6 years of outside storage, so I decided to replace them even though they had plenty of tread left. The wheels were still like new, so I thought I'd save some $$ and I buy replacement tires only from my local RV store (not Kenda brand). I had a difficult time finding a tire shop that would mount 12 inch wheels. I bargained with used tire shop and paid $25 to mount and balance two tires. The money I saved on the tires, I spent mounting them. With less than 2 years on those generic tires I had a blowout on the highway, fortunately no damage done to camper, but the wheel was destroyed. I learned my lesson. I should have bought the Kenda tires. I have probably 3 to 4000 miles on these new tires, and they look like new.

With these 8 ply, 5.30-12 tires greater load rating is a Great upgrade on my 5'x8' trailer that had the smaller 4.80-12 2ply tires. Worth the cost.

The tire looks great but the rim is not what I expected. The welding is poor, was not finished, probably has balance issues. This wheel supposed to be a spare for my jet skis trailer. I will not risk to damage them because of a poorly built rim. Pictures for reference What’s the return policy?

Great wheel and tire combo , the fit and finish were excellent . They pull great and no signs of rust after one year in saltwater use . I’d definitely recommend this combination .

Tire and wheel combo fit perfect. Workmanship on the wheel was better than the factory wheel I was replacing. The tire looks to be a heavy duty tire but only time will tell. This tire and wheel combo was installed on a 2017 Trailmax TD40T Tilt Trailer. etrailer has a lot of great info and there prices where the best I could find. The best part was that the tire wheel combo showed up in 2 days, that is some quick shipping.

Great products and very good prices on quality tire. Quick shipment and boxed very nicely. Fit on trailer hub perfectly. Videos really helped me measure hub lugs and explain ply difference and load range differences. I have a better product which will haul more. I will be buying a hitch and wiring for another car and the videos show me how easy it is to install. Companies around here want up to $400.00 to install. Thanks for the service will be back

Wanted to upgrade our camper wheels by adding 1" of width over the factory 5" wheels. These wheels have perform beyond my expectations.

One of the wheels had a manufactured cosmetic defect. I would've given a 5 star. It's a gouge in the steel. Also online in the video it shows the inside of wheels being powder coated but these are not.

Nice to find made in USA manufacturer. Arrived in timely manner. The hub covers were also ordered and arrived timely. Nice addition to trailer appearance.

Tires are holding up great. Performance is great for highway speeds in Florida at 75mph. No more worrying about blow outs like the oems rated trailer tires that came on the triton.

These galvanized wheels were perfect for my utility trailer. Great price, delivered fast, installed easily and make the trailer look new. I'd highly recommend the galvanized type over the white painted style.

This is the first time I have ordered trailer tires from Etrailer and I did not know what to expect with regard to service and product quality. The last pair of tires I had on my pontoon boat trailer were 185/80R13 Marathon tires but according to the specifications, the Etrailer 185/80R13 tires had a better load rating and higher safe speed rating than my old Marathon tires. My Etraier tires also have a 2/2018 date of manufacturing which was also a plus.

Tires arrived quickly, package well, and best of all they are only two months old. Will evaluate tires as time goes by, but etrailer.com did a great job of fulfilling my order.

Ordered the spare tire rack and galvanized wheel and tire. Great price on everything, found the load range D 13” tires at reasonable price. The short tires help me get the boat in the water even when tide is out.
