I put 3 stars because its a useful functional non-harmful roof rack solution for my WRX sedan. This review lost 2 stars because the rubber top pieces get damaged upon any accessory removal or install like(bike, snowboard rails etc). Additionally, these accessories also look to be weathering quickly because of build quality. Hopefully this helps your decision! Thanks

Exactly what I needed to mount the Rhino rack to my Nissan NV200 van.

Ordering was easy. And was delivered quickly. I’m very pleased.

Great quality! They come with two different style bases. One flat, and one that is stepped to account for the raised area near the gutter trim. Good variety of screws to meet your application. My 2015 Mazda 3 (with fixed points) needed the medium length screws. Seems very solid! I left the plastic gutter moldings on and just drilled holes for the screws to go through.

Everything came in a timely manner and ready to install. Looks great, solid rack.

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

Fit my nissan nv200 no problem. Comes with different size and length bolts to fit multible vehicles. Directions did tell me to use different size bolts thay clearly were the wrong ones but it was easy to figure it out. Also: u need all 3 products to complete ur roof rack system.

My experience with etrailer has been excellent. There was going to be a potential delay in one of the products, but their customer service promptly informed me, half the price of some of their competitors so can't really complain. In the end they got the part ahead of schedule and was able to ship in a timely manner. I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases.

The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.

The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.

very solid rack, it's not going anywhere. Several fasteners to affix to truck cap. Clean look for the First Gen Tacoma (1999).

This is the second vehicle now that I've put the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar roof rack kit on. The instructions aren't too hard to follow with basic assembly knowledge and etrailer has a video tutorial for installation instruction which helped also. I didn't realize the allen wrench they provided also doubles as the security bolt bit you'll need when installing the brackets into the tracks so I just picked one up at the local hardware store. It's a great value for this product and I never had issues with my last kit and don't anticipate any with this one.

Please see my review of Thule risers this Fit Kit was used with, as well as, Flint Hill basket. Same pic below as there. Weakest element of this item are the clips that fit into slots to secure it to - whatever - in my case, a Retrax Pro, manual Tonneau cover on the bed if my truck. See pic. Hard to visualize appropriate, secure placement. Seem to be working, but major test to come.

Bought the Thule Wingbar Evo 118 crossbars and Thule Evo Raised Rail footers and installed them on my 2016 RAV4. Pretty easy to install and I did watch a few videos online to make sure I was doing everything right. I like the new raised rail system from Thule as it is clamp style versus the rubber strap - both work very well, but the newer clamp system is nice because the tool you use to tighten the footings clicks when it reaches the right tightness so you don't over tighten it. I recommend these rails and the footings (Thule 710401) as the system is quiet when driving and looks good.

I am going to include the Landing Pads, Skyline Towers, LockNLoad adapters, and Pivoting Mounts that are all required for my vehicle in this review of the 84" x 54" LockNLoad Platform. First, I had done months of research trying to figure out what would work and meet my needs for a 2008 GMC Yukon XL. Without the help of etrailer's agent, Ashley, I'd probably still be trying to figure things out! Ashley was patient and thorough, she made sure I had all the parts I needed for a fairly complex (and large!)project. I cannot thank her enough! On to the assembly and installation: Ashley confirmed that following instructions was key to efficient building - I found that combining online instructions with the included hard copies worked best. As an example, the online fastener images and descriptions are far better than the paper ones. Then, having the paper instructions in hand made "in the moment" progress much faster. All of the Yakima parts fit together perfectly, and by methodically following the instructions (I cannot stress this enough!), including pre assembling Landing Pads, Towers, and Pivoting Mounts, there was no need to backtrack. Once I had a day to devote to the project, everything went very smoothly. Placing the large Platform on the mounts does require two people, but the rest was easy for one fairly handy person to accomplish. Making adjustments to be sure the Platform is centered and square to the roof took some time but it's worth it in the end. Again, thanks to etrailer and particularly Ashley! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

Works great with my 2023 Toyota Sequoia and no wind noise . This was a better option then the oem trd roof rack.

Easy to assemble and install. Love the way etrailer packages everything you need and they all are correct for the vehicle you are mounting them on. Once installed they appear very strong. Installed on a 2023 Chevy Tahoe and did not interfere with the sunroof.

Website is easy to use & is better at putting together the correct package than Thule’s site. etrailer had all the parts in stock for my 2020 Kia Telluride. Payment process was simple. Received periodic updates from staffer on my order & could actually reply if needed. Installing the roof rack went well. Estimate start to finish was about 2 hours. Found it best to really examine each diagram in Thule’s step by step instructions to get it all right on the first try. Hardness part of the installation was getting the crossbars installed at the proper distances. A tailor’s soft measuring tape & some masking were great aids.

Two issue- 1) my old Hull-a-ports don't fit perfectly on them. Had to do a little jerry rigging. It works, no problems but it would have been nice to know. 2) without any attachment on these bars, at speeds >40 MPH (70 KPH) These things cause the most God awful scream that almost precludes opening the windows they are so loud.

Great looking product. Fits very well on the car and the bars are actually pretty quiet. It is somewhat a pain to mount and dismount so plan on 30-45 minutes at least. In my opinion, if you put them on leave them there for the season as it is not very friendly to mount or dismount.

The Thule Top Track Roof Rack has performed well.

These tracks were easy to install on my Leer cap with two people. The Tracker ii system works perfectly and I am able to haul all of my surfboards, Thule box and roof top tent thanks to the tracks.

Crossbars and risers fit like a charm on factory roof rails of 2023 Honda ridgeline RTL-E. Much cheaper and studier than that of OEM Honda cross bars

I was looking for a rack to mount my rooftop tent on my 4Runner without having to spend $xxx or more for a brand name like Yakima or Thule. This thing has been perfect. Easy to install, high enough to easily access tent mount hardware and holding up great so far. If it doesn’t last as long as a name brand, that’s ok with me…I can buy 3 of these for the price of one of those.

This company performs in very timely manner, informs of shipping and delivery, offers more at any juncture. Exemplifies service. They are above and beyond most others.

Easy to install and works great!

I had to warranty the bars because the rubber strips that seal the attachment channel would not stay attached. Blew off on the highway. Poor design. Thule warranty is awesome, They sent me 2 new sets. Still wouldnt attach securely. Thule sent me a new set of bars. I already bought some square bars. I dont even want to use the wing bars. I want aerodynamic profile not the rubber strips.

So far its the best roof rack you can get today! Had no issues when driving through rugged and bumpy terrains all day.

Wish they had a kayak rack to mount to areo bars

Product itself is fantastic, I strongly recommend. I have had these on for more than a year. Most common use case is carrying a 60lb, 16' long canoe. I installed with rivets into the roof sheet metal. No issues at all with any rivets coming loose, and zero leakage. I use it with a Yakima crossbars with the quick release mounts. The feet are bolted to the tracks. The crossbars just click into the feet. They take literally less than a minute to attach or remove. I've had a few roof rack systems and this is by far the best. I used the etrailer videos for the installation and they were more than enough. The riveting was nerve-wracking on the first one, but actually very simple. I suggest really taking your time to assure parallel. This can be tricky depending on your roofline. I marked a centerline down my roof and set the tracks based on that. The only downside I have run into is not at all a fault in the tracks. Because they rivet into the roof sheet metal, it's susceptible to a bit of flex. I see this under the front of the tracks when I crank down on the bowline of the boat. That's a very large lever pulling down on the rack into the roof sheet metal. No lasting issues, I can just see the metal move. Another small thing to note is that if your roof is curved where the front or real of the rail lands, the plastic end cap might have a small gap under it. It's not itself held down to the roof, it just slots into the track. I have a small gap on mine and it's not a functional issue at all.
