Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair
Installed on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk on dirt. Front and rear. They fit fine. No rubbing on front wheels on full turns both ways. Going very slow. See what happens at 30mph when it snows.

Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
Didn't receive bag to carry chains in.
I bought this product for my Ram truck to retrieve fire wood at the top of my snow covered mountain land. The snow was 6 inches deep, very dense, and mixed with layers of ice. The ascent was about 150 feet over a distance of 300 yards. All 4 tires were fitted with this product. I was not able to accomplish my goal. The truck could not get the proper traction to navigate the hill. Without tramping hard on the gas, the tires just spun and dug holes to the stone lane surface. I can't fairly rate this product on it's performance because there may not be any tire chain that would have worked under these treacherous conditions. However, after taking the cables off, I was unable to roll them up to get them back into the bags they were in. For that reason I give them a poor rating. I would love to see a video of someone trying to do this. My solution was to make a wooden spool for each pair on which I rolled them up for storage. The bags are too small, especially for one person. The manufacturer failed to provide an easy means for storage.

Received the chains Monday, had them on and where using them Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Up and down our steep curvy 1/4 mile driveway to the road with no problems. They install easier than ladder type though easy is not a word that describes tier chain installation or use honestly. 5 stars! Thumbs up! Great product!
I used these chains for all 4 wheels of an old toyota pick up to be able to plow my Montana driveway, which is quite steep. The chains are good quality, worked very well, and were easy to install. For me, with the benefit of a dedicated vehicle for plowing, I only need to put chains on at the beginning of winter. But, they were easy enough that it wouldn't be so difficult if one had to remove them periodically. Good traction for the truck.

I love these chains, and etrailer is the best! As a 69 yr old retired grandma, I work part-time at a ski resort. A few weeks ago, we were expecting 8-10 inches of snow/ice and I was scheduled to work. So, I put these idiot-proof, color-coded, self-adjusting chains on my Highlander front low profile tires and waited for weather. See photo. I worked my full shift, came out to ice/snow in dark, and drove safely home. Oh, and the carrying case comes with a folded plastic sheet, but with my old knees I added a foam pad!
Previously my only experience with chains was using cable chains on front wheel drive cars, where turning the wheels was necessary to ensure they had a good fit. I bought these chains for my 2023 Kia EV6 with stock 235/55/19 tires. The instruction manual for the car says to put chains on the rear wheels and I was worried that getting chains on the rear wheels would be difficult. Despite never having used this style of chains before I was easily able to test-fit both chains with 15 minutes, and the chains fit very snuggly and didn't move when I move the car a cars length. Getting the inner loop positioned right is something that took a couple tries to get right, and I'm sure there might be a bit more room for improvement :) I was slightly concerned about the chains damaging the rims or other parts of the car, but with the included spacers (not applied in the picture) I think this won't be a problem. I'm taking the car up to the snow this weekend and if I use the chains I'll provide an update. etrailer did a great job clearly communicating to me when my chains would arrive with no fuss.

Konig Easy Fit Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair
I have driven on these chains for a year. Here are my thoughts. They are probably good for someone who just needs to drive on a chain to get from their chalet to the ski lift while looking fly. However we own land in the mountains of Colorado about three miles up a private road that is unmaintained. We routinely face 6-8 inch drifts, steep inclines, and hairpin turns. When you can actually get this chain on, it works fine. However, after the first time, you will basically never get this chain on properly again. The first time I put them on, I was in love. Then I tried to take them off after getting a mix of heavy snow and dirt into the release canal. When you hit the quick release, it goes up about a quarter of the way, and you have to reach behind the wheel and pull to get the wire to release. From there, everything goes downhill. The wire stretches a little from having to pull it off the wheel. Then when you step on the quick tighten, it tightens, unless the snow underneath is too icy/firm, then it only tightens sort of. You can take it off and retry, but that loosens the wire a little bit more. Soon enough, the chain isn't actually tight against the wheel. But it stays on. Which is fine if you don't spin. But if you hit a spot where you spin, then the chain goes shooting off the back like a bola. You can put it back on, but it doesn't ever tighten down well enough again. Last time I went up to our property, I got in fine, losing one chain along the way, but when I tried to get out, got stuck three times because I couldn't keep the chains on my tires. Trying to get them on in deep snow, under tire spun icy snow, don't bother. TL;DR, great if you have to use them once or twice in cute, clean, snow. Anything of actual need, get different chains.
There is a learning curve to installation, even though these chains seem well-made and easier to use than other types. It can be difficult to center them on the tire. You have to have normal arm strength to lift and place them correctly.

Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
This product replace my 12 years old snow track. The main side cables and x-cables/roller are twice as large in diameter. Much heavier but draped over the wheels with no problem. Installation is simple as described on your video. Fit is good. I am anxious to try idriving with it on snow and ice. But, I don’t drive when the weather is not permitting and the road is not clear. But, it is a good feeling to have a new snow chain with you instead of the old rusty and twisted one. The 5 arms tensioner are much better than my single loop. Just a couple of cons: 1. The latch on the outside cable connectors are difficult to lock and unlock in place. Plier to compress it to lock in position and flat head screw driver to open it from lock position are good help. 2. The red “S” clips that is right next to the connector assembly does not work. The cable is too stiff and the cable connector assembly gets in the way in securing excess cables from slapping around. Place the clip on the next link to secure. You will end up with an inch high bulge on the cable so make sure you have enough clearance inside the wheel well when the wheels is fully turned right and left. I have plenty of room so this is not and issue - I hope! “Much thanks to Carol C. who assisted me in ordering the parts. Your professionalism and product knowledge made my life easy.” Stay WARM!
I shopped around and you will NEVER beat this price. Clear instructions (video on etrailer was super helpful also). Great carry bag! A nice product to have "just in case." Hopefully I will never have to use them...

Konig K-Summit Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair
Easy to put on, easy to take off, in between nice to drive (on a Kia EV9). I also use those (in smaller size) with a Hyundai Ioniq 5.
So far so good. I’m waiting for snow before I give 5 stars. It’s recommended you fit the chains before you actually need them to get familiar with the innovative design. I had to remove all 5 yellow bolts since my wheels are larger. Keep the extra hardware but you won’t need them unless you change cars. Once fitted you’re good to go. Wear gloves to mount them in about 5 minutes. I

Works well, I suggest adding additional tensioner if you don’t want any slack. Loved the product
Arrived as scheduled. Packaged well. I did a test install, and all seems good. Seems like a quality product. Installed on my Ram Promaster 3500 Class B van.

I live in LA and purchased this tire chain because I was going on a road trip to some national parks and mountains up in Vancouver. It's pretty easy to out on and remove. Worked perfectly for me. In snow, you can't drive more than 25 miles anyway. I also like the case that comes with it. I've only used it once and that's my experience.
We received the package one week after we put in the order. Communicated with Customer Service one time and they were very prompt to respond. All told, a solid experience. Now we just have to figure out how to install....

I live in Buffalo NU. We get some snow! My company work van absstinks in the snow even with extra weight and snow tires. I got stuck in a very long driveway and had to break out the chains. Tons of snow & wind blowing. Still was not much difficulty popping then on. Got out of my situation with ease!! Highly recommend these!
Jessica was very helpful selecting which chains to purchase. They fit well, the price was very competitive and arrived quickly. I had to deliver some material to a mountain location and needed to go down a couple of steep inclines. I put chains on all four tires of my truck and one axle on the trailer. I didn't have any slipping or sliding on an icy snow-packed road.

I have not used the cables just yet. Hopeful I will not need to since I have AWD. However it's nice to have them just in case. I wasn't sure what ones to get but their customer service was great and shipping was fast. They are a nice set of cables. I definitely do not have any hesitations in using etrailers.
Great product. Did a dry run in preparation for a trip up to Yosemite in the winter. I purchased these w/ the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster (TCMA2) and it fit great on my 2017 Toyota Sienna SE (P235/50R19). The installation video on etrailer.com was VERY helpful.

I was looking to have snow tire chains for my upcoming trip to northern Wisconsin. I found these to be very easy to install as the instructions were very clear. I like that they come with a case to make them easy to store in my Ford Escape.
I am really pleased with this purchase. I recently put them on in the midst of a nice snow shower and it took less than 5 minutes. The fact that they self correct as you drive means you don't have to have them perfectly centered to start with. The links are a lot smaller that I expected, so they are easy to handle. I have learned that as the roads get better to leave them off because you definitely don't want to use them on pavement, as the vehicle will shake like crazy. You also don't want to go more than about 20 mph with them on.

Fit perfectly on my toyota sienna 20in rims when I thought tire chains weren’t possible with that tire model. I had asked a question on their site to confirm that theyd fit and they were super responsive. I received the chains fast and they were good about emailing me notifications. Chains worked great especially with tensioner, I just used some thick foam padding to prevent any possible scratches to my wheels. Very happy with my purchase and would def buy from E-trailer again!
I ordered the snow cables for my Subaru 2018 Outback and received them in 3 days! Your customer service is outstanding! I reordered a second set and received them in 4 days. I just had a chance to use them in Atlanta when we had ice and snow. I used only one set on the front and they worked perfectly. i watched the etrailer installation video for a Subaru and it made the easy to install. It took me less then 5 minutes in my garage. (Outside in the snow and ice might take longer). I drove around Atlanta in the ice and snow and the cables performed flawlessly. I plan to buy a set for my daughter. Thanks again!

Glacier Tire Chains w/ Cam Tighteners - Ladder Pattern - Twist Links - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair
The order was handled very fast, and I got the snow chains in no time. Those are chains for big vehicle, they are heavy and sturdy. Comparing to diamond pattern chains that I had perilously, the new chains almost impossible to tangle. It takes just 30 seconds to lay them correctly on the ground. In my garage I put them as instructed in the video on etrailer web page. But in real life scenario, on highway shoulder, I would probably lay them down on the ground, drive 2-3 feet forward and try to close the chains on top of the wheel (versus crawling on the ground and trying to reach behind the wheel). The tension system is simple and intuitive. Comparing again to diamond pattern chains, this tension system is much more robust. The only downside of those chains, they miss caring bag. The bag they where shipped in, has no zipper, and cannot be closed once open.
Great chains! Get them on as tight as possible with all the cams facing out, drive a short way and then tighten the cams where needed. Very easy install and the grip is excellent - got us safely through the snowstorm that just hit Tahoe.

pewag Snox Pro Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Links - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair
The 2nd time I used the chains, the tensioner on one chain would not release, so I could not flip the chains off, and I had to pay a roadside chain removal guy to cut them off. The 90-day warranty seems unreasonable for the price of these chains. I'm not going to buy Pewag chains to replace them.
dissatisfied with the product. First one of the chains came off the tire, while I was plowing my driveway. On the other chain the 'red' link broke off. Have not used them since !

I've fought tire chains most of my life. Bought a Trailhawk and decided to get a set of chains and was dreading it. Found Etrailer, watched a few videos and styles and ordered Chains By Thule - Standard Heavy Duty - Xb16 - Size 250 . Got them a day ago after fast shipping. Told a friend about them and he came over today and I whipped one on in about 1.5 minutes the first time and took it off in half the time. Cannot speak of use in the snow yet but I expect life to be a lot sweeter. MM
Only ordered because I needed chains for a trip. Paid extra to have chains delivered before my trip. Contacted etrailer to state the same. Chains arrived after I left for trip. Website needs to be corrected to reflect actual delivery times.

Im am very very satisfied with purchasing these chains from etrailer. First their web page was easy to navigate. Second the price was great. Then they were delivered as promised and quick. Once they arrived the quality is great and they came in a very nice carry case. Then I actually put them on in less then 5 minutes each and they went on without moving the truck like it says. so easy I couldn't believe it. I drove several times up and down my driveway without any problems with traction, and it was very slippery without them. I don't plan to use them all the time I plan to use them when I plow my driveway next year but just wanted to get prepared for next year. I put them over all season tires so I saved from getting snow tires for plowing. Great Job Team etrailer !!!
I bought these snow chains for an up coming ski trip to Colorado during Christmas time. Etrailer was a great resource in trying to decide what type of snow chain to purchase, especially for a South Texan. The video demonstration and previous review is what sold me on the type/brand. I tested them to ensure they fit properly and had them installed in a jiffy. Let's hope I never have to use them!

Or, if bad weather strikes, and you find yourself stranded, you could put on a set of chains, and get going where you need to go.What many of our customers have found out about this particular tire chain over others is that these work great on vehicles that are higher end. We've even had a couple customers with Audis and Porsches that said they worked great. The diamond pattern of our chain design gives a superior traction in snow and ice, and the reason for this is, the diamond pattern gives us more surface area to contact the road than your traditional ladder style chains. By having more surface area contacting the road, this allows it to dig in better and give you the traction that you need. The D-link design here is a superior design to your traditional twisted link chains.

The unique diamond pattern of our chains give us superior traction in snow and ice. Also, the small, square links that we have here help dig into the ice even better, but yet give us a smooth ride because they don't stick out very far over the tire, so it's not like we're driving over bumps each time the tire goes around, contacting different areas on the chain. Most tire chains out there require the use of a separate tensioning device.

Installation Guide for the Glacier Cable Tire Chains on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee
All right, today on this 2015 Jeep Cherokee we're going to show you the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1046. For reference we're also working with a tire size of 22560R18. All right, this is what the snow chains look like when they're installed on our vehicle. All right, now our cables are constructed from a low carbon steel, so this will last against the elements for a very long time. Same thing with the crossbars here, how they're encased with spring and rollers on top of that so our chain can roll around and move with the tire and dig into the ice and snow as needed. Take a look at the rollers, very close to the tires, less than a 1/2 inch in height. This works as a Class S type chain that will work with vehicles that have limited clearance between a tire and wheel and also the components behind the wheel. These chains are designed for on-road use only.
