More importantly, the video that etrailer made for how to install the parts on my Explorer made this a very enjoyable experience. Solid product. The bars themselves are well made, sturdy, and the added rubber strip on top of each helps to reduce slide. The installation wasn't terrible, but definitely plan to put some time into this in order to do it properly. Of special note, and while obnoxious, get the measurement and cuts spot on for the underside plastic/measuring pieces that go on either side of the mounting legs. I have had zero whistle with my installation and think that it may have to do with spending time, at least trying to get those pieces cut as close to the correct sizes as possible. I did seem to be missing the hex screws for the legs that allow easy removal, so I had to use the temp. bolts used when the rails/feet are not installed and one would use the cover plates.

The bolts that attach the bars to the mounting brackets were incorrect size. I reported this and they sent exactly the same bolts as replacement. I was then informed that I needed to figure out the issue with the manufacturer and that etrailer could not do anything about it. Ended up getting bolts from the local hardware store rather than waste hours with RhinoRack support.

Racks were easy to install on my 2016 Explorer. The hardest part was sliding the rubber inserts onto the racks.

These feet are solid, secure, and easily mounted to my 2018 Ford Explorer Sport using the integrated mount screw points. With the rails installed I feel that any load within tolerance will be well secured and safe.

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

Hi - Bailey very helpful so far in finding replacement with wider jaws for my 2" wide Explorer rails..... product looks great other than too narrow jaws.... will follow up again if we find a good fit.

Great fit on 2012 Ford Explorer, and full width allows more room to mount box, Kayak, etc., compared to stock rails.

My wife was concerned about the look of the rack on the car roof (2015 Ford Explorer); I was concerned about possible vibration and sound. Both my wife and I are very happy - it looks and works great; exceeded our expectations.

Purchased for an 8000 mile roadtrip last summer. A perfect fit for our Ford Flex. Easy to locate correct model on etrailer.com website and best price we could find. Install was a snap with good instructions. Great customer support at Thule - totally class company. We used it to mount our Thule luggage carrier as well as fishing poles on the sides. This product exceeded my expectations. I purchased these with the INNO square crossbars and they fit my 2014 Explorer perfect!! Extremely easy to install took about 15 minutes. Very sturdy- I will be hauling my two paddle boards and have no doubt they will travel well! I highly recommend this product.

I’ve had this roof rack system for about a year now and it has worked consistently well for the entire 12 months and I believe will continue to work well for me for the for seeable future. I gave it four stars initially and four stars now because I do think the fit and finish of the system could be better. That’s not a dealbreaker for its function because it’s excellent in doing the work it’s designed to do but it just isn’t the prettiest. Great rack, buy it... it will work hard for you. My Explorer, love the service, from order to install in 3 days

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Exactly what we needed to use our old Yakima bars and kayak sharks with our new Ford Explorer. Our old car, a Ford Expedition, used the same round Yakima bars and kayak sharks but had a different roof rack. Instead of paying $800+ to get a whole new kayak rack system... the adapters we got from etrailer helped us used all the old equipment :)

Yakima Towers and Pads arrived on time and all in order. Service was extremely fast and the price was better than every other site I looked through.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. Installation was easy and I haven't had any issues. I had originally ordered a wrong part, but the person I spoke with at etrailer made it very easy to correct this and get the parts I needed. The next time I need something from my truck, I'll be checking here first.

Low profile foot system that works well !

I got a really great deal on this MPG201 kit via the "used" section, which wasn't used - I contacted support and it was listed essentially as "damaged in shipping" but fully functional, which it was. It came with no keys but I used a small flathead screwdriver to unlock them, necessary for rack installation. Not a biggy. One of the plastic feet split on install, which Malone rectified without hassle, and sent keys, when I contacted them with a photo. They make a decent rack for the money, I bought a different kit from them years ago. The connection beneath the roof rails is minimal but seems sufficient for surf and snowboards. I sent photos to Malone who confirmed the install is correct.

These 50” rack and risers fit as advertised on our 2017 MiniCooper Clubman with use of the clamp adapter. Just finished testing them to transport two bikes up, over and back across the Appalachian Mts on both steep backwoods roads and open highway with zero problems. Unrelated to this product, I had a comparability problem with my Yakima bike rail clamps that are smaller than the roof racks diameter and require some finagling which others might not be able to make work. So check on clamp size comparability if these are to replace an existing Yakima roof carrier system. Again, this is not an etrailer product critique!

Was skeptical at first because I needed the posts as well for my 2011 Honda Element. The Honda crossbars were not adequately weight rated and is why I opted for Yakima. Couldn't be happier with my choice as this assembly has served me well throughout the year.

Perfect. Perfect. Easy to install and high quality. Confident in this product. Excellent instructions. Used with towers of course! Towers and crossbars have demonstrated to be strong and durable with several trips with kayaks.

I had to warranty the bars because the rubber strips that seal the attachment channel would not stay attached. Blew off on the highway. Poor design. Thule warranty is awesome, They sent me 2 new sets. Still wouldnt attach securely. Thule sent me a new set of bars. I already bought some square bars. I dont even want to use the wing bars. I want aerodynamic profile not the rubber strips.
