Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit
I installed a backup camera on my 40' 5th wheel travel trailer. LOVE it! Dialed in the guidelines, flipped the image to mirror view and can nail the tight parking spaces like a professional. Lets me keep an eye on the bikes on the bike rack too. The night vision feature is great. The microphone/speaker works well when I need a real person spotting (which is almost never now). Now my wife can just talk to me, no more yelling. Installation wasn't too difficult as the cable fit behind the weather strip along the corners of the coach. If you want to know what's in the blind spot behind you, good choice here. And the monitor has 2 more video connections to use too. Might add a hookup camera next. Anyway, buy it.
I have a pull behind camper and I like to see what is behind the camper as I go down the road. The camera is wired to an AUX switch so I can have it on when I need it. The camera is also great for backing the camper. The monitor is mounted to a block of wood to fit in two of the four cup holders so I can store it when not in use, out of sight.

Rear View Safety Backup Sensor System
Overall, the installation went well. The video helped lot. I chose to not use the clips on the console, and mounted it underneath on the top of the bezel around the instrument cluster. The on/off switch was kind of hard to get to, so I incorporated my own switch on the dash. By running a separate ground wire through to the dash to that switch, I was able to achieve this. I use the on off switch when hooked to a trailer. This unit seems to fill my backup sensor needs, without an extra effort to install. Works pretty good too.
My order arrived quickly and was pleased with the cost. The installation video on the website is informative. I have yet to install the back up sensor system but expect it to go smoothly. Purchased for a 2019 Ford Transit 250.

Hopkins Backup Sensor System - Audible Alert - License Bracket Mount
Stopped working and when it did it wasn't that accurate. Now it just doesn't work at all. The beeper is not that loud when it is in the panel of the hatchback.
Installed on 2015 Kia Sorento. My particular installation was simple . I new it would be , that is why I chose this product. My backup lights are located on the back door hatch. Removed three small opening covers and exposed the opening to the light wiring and gained access to " fish wire and connector through, without removing paneling. Connections were literally a "snap". All was achieved within the back door panel. The unit seems to work fine but is lacking corner activation, which is to be expected with only two sensors. My particular application will not sense a small dog even when sensors are pitched lowest possible.( high licence plate). Had to disconnect and reconnect connector with white alignment dots numerous times before unit worked properly. Overall, I would say it functions very well . It is very adequate for my needs and at a reasonable price. I Couldn't give it 5 stars because of the connector problem. How it does in the future. only time will tell .

Hopkins Trailblazer Electronic Deer Alert
I love it! Purchased 2. 1 for my wife and the other for me. I have only had it installed for a week and a half on our cars and am seriously thinking about getting 1 all family members. First handed I have noticed that deer are alerted when I am near. I have also noticed that dogs are alerted and raccoons also. This does not work well for geese. This works great on alerting people also. Gets their attention. I decided to use a wireless pushbutton on off switch to a relay for mine. Saves time in trying to find a way through the firewall. The hardest part in wiring was trying to find a circuit that turns off when the car is off.
So far all is good with this deer alert. Installed on my SUV vehicle and I cannot hear it while driving and tunes are playing. (I installed LED indicator light so that I know the alert is on). I have used a competitor's deer alert on my motorcycles (2002 on, after hitting deer and the last 6 years on my Mazda MX-5) after hitting a deer on my brand new motorcycle in 2002. I have found that the alert is very effective after meeting up with many deer/elk/moose in my travels over the last two decades.. Things, I like about the Hopkins Trailblazer Deer Alert vs. competitor's alert: Louder- "Chirpy noise" that I think will be even more effective in alerting animals./ Easily installed behind grill ( at least in my SUV) / Appears to be weather proof so no worries about carwashes / Approx. 25% of the cost of competitor's alert. Tip: I purchased a wireless switch else where and wired into circuit to activate the Alert saving me much time on installation as there was no need to run wires into the cabin for switch as per instructions. Highly recommend as this was a $10 addition. Giving this alert a 4 of 5 rating, only because it is new (one week after installation) and I have yet to encounter any deer/moose/elk in my travels. I will update on my experiences as I do put faith in these devices - perhaps no "bullet-proof", but certainly effective.
