Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof
This review covers the Rhino Rack 2500 Vortex Aero crossbars and associated parts (DK284, RRRLKVA, RRVA137S-2) for a naked roof installation on a 2018 Honda CR-V. Very solid racks. We just took our first trip using them and the didn't budge. As recommended, a few days after installing, I tightened the bolts a bit. I'm not sure they needed it--just a little insurance. The installation process was clear, but fairly detailed. It would be easy to miss a step, so take your time. Also, I tried a couple shortcuts in the order when installing on the car, but had to back track. So, go in the order they give you. The racks easily supported our filled "pod" and a couple surfboards, strapped side-by-side. Sorry, no photos of the rack loaded. One thing to watch out for is that our old Thule pod almost didn't fit because of the thickness of the racks. I had to loosen the bolts almost entirely. Of note: I feel that although I followed the measurements to the millimeter, the fit on our 2018 Honda CR-V wasn't exact. Where the pads sit on the roof of the car didn't align perfectly. I could have adjusted this by just re-trimming the rubber pads that go in the channels, but it's not a big deal, so I just left it. Finally, I do have one concern. The angle of final installation doesn't really protect the racks from theft very well. The plastic plate that locks over the screw would allow someone with the proper tool to get up under it and loosen the bolts. That being said, someone so inclined could also just break the little plastic door or drill a hole in it to access the bolt. So, I guess it's just a deterrent anyway. Overall, I'm very happy with the racks and etrailer.com! Despite shipping delays due to Covid-19, they were able to get the racks to me in time for an upcoming trip. I did choose to expedite shipping, but the cost was very reasonable.
The clamps fit well on my 2014 Honda CRV. I took my time reading the instructions and attaching the cross rails to ensure proper attachment, and found the fit to work great. The clamps work well on the contour of the CRV. I took a test drive, and did not encounter any problem. Aloha from Hawaii!

Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4
i George from etrailer, The rack is awesome! Strong, firm hold and nice looking. When doing surveys, I put my ladders on the rack. I highly recommend this etrailer.
I put 3 stars because its a useful functional non-harmful roof rack solution for my WRX sedan. This review lost 2 stars because the rubber top pieces get damaged upon any accessory removal or install like(bike, snowboard rails etc). Additionally, these accessories also look to be weathering quickly because of build quality. Hopefully this helps your decision! Thanks

SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Square Crossbars - Steel - 45-1/2" Long
Easy to assemble and, solidly built. Very easy/fast to mount/remove after assembly. The instructions are not all that clear for assembly of the combined sr1003 sr1116. I hope this photo will help. Note that the rubber feet remain on the back bar that crosses the car, but the hook that goes under the door frame is transferred to the sr1116 front to back extender bar.
The rack was fairly easy to put on, do NOT over tighten the rectangular nuts on assembly. They are easy to strip. There are now backup nuts on all four bolts on our unit. Be careful to assure that the rubber pads are correctly positioned on the unit's "feet" before tightening it down on your roof. It looks good and on a recent trip from CT to TN and back, we got the best fuel mileage we've gotten since we bought our CRV over a year ago so it sure doesn't create a lot of drag! Once mounted it is sturdy and not unattractive although the side clamps do distort the door gaskets a bit which increased the wind sound level a bit. I think it is a good value if you are careful mounting it.

Rapid Traverse Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roof - Qty 4
The whole experience was freakin awesome. * Ordered on-line, delivered when promised, all packages were in excellent condition, and all parts were accounted for - no shortages, THANK YOU! * The Thule roof rack design, quality of materials, comprehensive instructions were really impressive. Everything went together without a hitch and really looks good installed. * We plan on carrying our 12 1/2' SUP's on the roof rack when we head out to the lakes. * It saves us time as our SUP's are inflatable, however it takes a bit of time to pump them up once we get there. Now it's just loosen them up and we're ready to go. Great job etrailer, I would definitely buy more products from your organization!!
Etrailer helped me out of a jam as I could not find the Thule parts I needed. They not only had the parts but got them to me in a few days! Made my trip to Lake Placid possible! Fantastic communication and customer service.

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 49" Long - Qty 2
The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.
Purchase for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, black rails. Perfect fit.

RCL Legs for Rhino-Rack Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms - Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4
Roof racks work pretty well once I figured out how to correctly assemble them. The locks serve no purpose. You can get by them with an allen wrench. Had delivery problems that you addressed well.
Great bars. It's my second pair. Both on jeep Grand cherokee. The pair I put on my 2015 overland didn't whistle at all. This pair I put on my 2020 trailhawk whistled starting at 20mph and changed pitch throughout the acceleration process and while causing. I bought a fairing and the problem is solved. At least for now. I put the fairing on wit the label in. Looks better and Rhino Rack isn't paying me to advertise. The fairing they recommended seemed small but works so go with whatever they recommend.

Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points - Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Qty 2
Well packed, easy instructions, solid installation feeling with professional results. Dressed in business casual, I removed the covers and installed the racks in less than 30 minutes so we could drive it on the expressway and check for wind noise and no wind noise. The Allen wrench tool worked great, there was minor alignment on one nut, other wise, with a small flat headed screw driver to remove the covers, and a Phillips head screw driver to secure the bars, it was really straight forward and easy to get professional results. We just attached a hundred pounds of wood and it rode perfectly and again no noticeable noise or issues of any kind. I kept the heavy plastic packing and slit it to protect the bars from scuffing, wrapping the clear plastic and securing it with small strips of 3M duct tape and then remover them. We used one of the packing bags to place the instructions, the old covers, and the covers provided and the tool to store with the spare tire. Great design, we like the black, on a black car and it works great. Thanks for a great product and your video guides ensure even a first timer, has the confidence to do it and do it right. One recommendation: Deburr the inside of the aluminum extrusion (mounting bracket) and the tube slides in easily for everyone. Regardless, it went together with a little extra pressure.
Installation was easy, about 15 mins tops, solid product. I like how this fits seamlessly like it came with the CRV but of a higher quality.

Was a little intimidated when I saw all the parts but it came together nicely and appears quite sturdy. Strapped the paddle boards on top and took off!
The installation video is quite helpful, and I was able to install my new crossbars without any trouble. I highly recommend buying through etrailer.com - they have earned my business again!

Yakima RoundBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 58" Long - Qty 2
Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)
works good

Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3166
They work as designed. EAsy to install once one figures out where the attachment points on the Honda CR-V are..
These Thule roof rack rails are fantastic. I can easily and quickly add my ski and paddleboard accessories. Plus it's just such a sleek look!

Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Qty 4
Easy install, no issues with this roof rack in almost 1 year of using it
While the instructions were a bit difficult to follow the install videos from etrailer are a blessing to figure out what to expect even if not exact to the letter. Overall product is excellent, use it to haul kayaks and a 18 ft aluminum canoe to and from locations. Would recommend .

Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points - Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Qty 2
So far so good! Haven't loaded it yet but it is sturdy and solid. Everything came perfectly cut to fit, zero issues whatsoever! The rails were aftermarket and there were no issues with those being compatible with the cross bars either. Plan to add bike racks and cargo box. etrailer gets it right!
Easy to install, it's very strong, easy to transport my kayaks, and my attached Thule Stackers work well with it. It's a great rack mounted on my factory Honda CRV roof rails.

Yakima RoundBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 48" Long - Qty 2
I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.
Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 2
robert s was terrific !!! excellent customer service !!! from assisting with a return, to recommending an alternative, to informing me about delivery status ... the yakima jetstream crossbars with baseline towers were a bit more complicated to assemble and install than the brand i returned, but the wind noise and whistling are dramatically less ... the next step is to select a cargo carrier ... it goes without saying that i will consult robert again ... thanks so much robert, and safe and happy travels to all
Ordered new towers and clips so as to use my old-school round bars (I bought these at least 18 years ago, maybe even earlier) and bike and canoe accessories on a new vehicle (naked roof 2018 CR-V). Installation was tedious, as usual, but not difficult and the written instructions were straightforward. Youtube helpful too but not necessary. Have hauled bikes and the canoe in high wind on the interstate (no more than 65 mph though) on the CR-V and so far so good. Have had excellent results with Yakima racks on 3 vehicles now (2 sedans and now the CR-V) over last 28 yrs. This is my first purchase through etrailer. Very pleased. Good price, excellent service online and via phone, rapid delivery. Highly recommend.

Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp and Edge Clamp Roof Rack Feet - 5046
Yakima clamps for a bare Honda CRV work great.
Once we got it correctly installed it stayed firm. We only have occasion to use it once a year for an annual trip. Although I think it reduces gas mileage, it's too much trouble to take down and put back up. It works fine to hold extra baggage.

Rola Rail Extreme RBE Series Roof Rack - Flush Side Rails - 47" Long
It’s a nice looking item, the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because on my 2016 CRV the piece on the front sits flush to the bracket in the contrary; the back piece has 1.5” of overhang on both sides. I guess I should have ordered the longer version instead of the 47”
Installation: Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs on a 2014 Honda CR-V
Hi everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, for your naked roof, on your 2014 Honda CRV. If you're looking for a fairly cost-effective roof rack, that has all the features that I really look for, in a roof rack system, I definitely think that the Vortex Aero Rhino-Rack Roof Rack system, is gonna be good for you. We're going to be able to put about 165 pounds worth of stuff on top, we have T-Tracks, it's made of aluminum, it's not gonna rust away, and it's just gonna allow your CRV, and the people you're driving around, to do more. Some things that you don't see with some roof racks is locks, these come with it. Even some of the higher end racks, you really have to purchase the lock separately, which is kind of silly in my opinion, but this one comes all with it, you don't have to buy anything separate.
Fit Test: Inno Aero Roof Rack for Naked Roofs with 2014 Honda CR-V
Today on our 2014 Honda CRV we are going to be test fitting the inno roof rack system. This is going to be consisting of part numbers INXB108-2. Those are going to be the crossbars. Part number INXS200, those are going to be the flush feet. Part number INK413 and that's going to be the clamp that holds it onto your vehicle. We already have the front one installed. You can see it has a nice shape to it.
Fit Test: Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs with 2014 Honda CR-V
Today on our 2014 Honda CR-V we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers RRVA137B-2, those are going to be the cross bars, part number RRRLKVA, and those are going to be the legs, and then part number DK284, and those are going to be the clamps holding it to your vehicle. We have the front one already installed. As you can see it has a nice aerodynamic shape. Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on. We have it partially assembled on our table here already, with the parts laid out. Let's get right into it. We'll first take our leg, flip this around here so you can see a little bit better. This metal bracket here is going to slide into this channel here.
Will the Inno Aero Crossbars Fit Your 2014 Honda CR-V?
Today on our 2014 Honda CRV, we are doing a test fit of the Inno Aero Crossbars. The part number for the crossbars we are using is INXV108-2 for the Foot Pack we have here it is INSX200 and for the Fit Kit for our CRV the part number is INK413. We already have our front bar on, we are going to show you how we put the last Foot Pack together and then how we mount the Crossbar. The first thing we will do is take the Foot Pack and we have alredy got our plate in place, so we are just going to slip that on, and then adjust it until it pops down into place. I have already tightened down side, we are first going to measure our that spread, before we tighten down that bolt in there. We want 35 7/8 inches between the two, so we are just a little off. We are just going to keep adjusting until it is in the right spot. Then we can take our included Allen Key, and again with this bolt here, we will just tighten that down, so the Foot Pack is here and it stays in place. Now we will take our rubber bottom and we are just going to fit that on the bottom of the Foot Pack and we will take our clamp and do our bolt here on the end.
Setting up the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points on your 2014 Honda CR-V
Today, on our 2014 Honda CR-V, we'll be test fitting the Thule AeroBlade Podium Roof Rack system using part numbers THARB47, TH460R, and THKIT3118. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin our test fit by removing the tabs on top of our side rails. Once we have those removed, we can then remove the rubber tabs on the insides of our side rails. We'll take our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. We can adjust the feet as necessary to sit on top of our side rails, and we also want to make sure that we have even bar overhang on each side of our vehicle. Once we have them set in the right place, we'll make sure all the holes are in line, and then, we'll tighten the 2 Allen bolts inside each foot pack. Then, we'll grab our bolts and place the bolts on the backside of our foot pack, screwing them into the mounting points on our side rail. We'll do this for both sides of our vehicle. Once we have the front taken care of, we can then grab our rear bar and place it onto the rear part of our roof.
