Best 2013 Toyota Camry Roof Racks

Easy to use

I bought this last yr to haul my kayaks on my Toyota camry. Being 5'2", getting them on top of my SUV was next to impossible for me and my daughters. Since then, I have traveled from Michigan, all the way to the west coast with two 13' ft kayaks. These racks have been absolutely perfect in every aspect. I mounted them myself, and checked them regularly to see if they needed adjusted. Not once did they loosen or move. They with stood Traveling with speed limits reaching 80 mph on I84, along with the windy weather on our cross-country trip. My car moved around from the high winds, and the racks stayed put. These racks have by far reached and surpassed every expectation I had when purchasing them. I would not recommend another. Only thing I would recommend is showing installation for both front and back bars, since the measurements are slightly different for both. As I had to figure this out my self, after watching the installation video. Thank you Rhino for providing such a high quality product.

This works great on my 2013 Camry, I've used it twice 400 miles per trip with 2 SOT KAYAKS at highway speeds, it is a great rack & I highly recommend.

I installed the Rhino Rack roof rack on my 2014 Toyota Camry. The instructions are excellent. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. The rack is solid, fit perfectly and there is no wind noise.

Great product especially for the price, fits well on my '01 Camry and is very stable when my bike and snowboard are mounted to it. Also reasonably easy to install without modifying or damaging my roof or doors.

My wife and I use ladders a lot in our work. Lately we have needed to use our 2000 Camry for carrying a 16 ft. extension ladder and a 6 ft. step ladder for our work. Hence the need for a sports rack. This rack is very logical in how it comes together. directions are good and dimensions are shown in inches and metric. Cool! Price on this unit is very good also. The one thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is the racks generate a lot of wind noise above 50 miles an hour (with nothing on them).

Just make sure you have the rubber foot pads on the correct rack mount and you'll be perfect. It's easy to tell which goes where.

The Rhino roof rack I purchased is wonderful and carries my two kayaks on my Toyota Camry great. My experience with etrailer was fantastic , my purchase arrived sooner than promised and was exactly as advertised. I will definitely use etrailer again.

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

After a year, the racks are holding up nicely and still have a solid fit. I only put them on the car when needed. It just takes a few minutes to set them up and go.

The only problem I had, was when I watched the video showing how to install the rack, I did not realize that the actual installation process was a lot more complex. For example, the woman who was in the video only showed the installation one rack (I believe itg was the back rack and she gave the width measurement for that one. The front rack was already on the car and the woman neglected to say, "check your manual. The width of the front rack (may be) different than the back. She also did not explain carefully that there were three different screws that needed to be adjusted for a proper fit so the towers were properly adjusted for yoiur specific car. (My car is a 2018 Chevy Volt.) (I also bought Yakima kayak cradles from you guys, which were easy to install.) However, I blame myself for not reading the manual carefully, so when I installed the racks, they did not fit right and one of them actually fell off while I was driving. (Luckily there were kayaks on and no one was hurt. The two towers were damaged but luckily the rack and the kayak cradles were fine. I called etrailers and was told I had to contact Yakima, which I did. I explained to the Yakima customer service rep that I was at fault for trusting the video and not reading the manual carefully and after asking me to send him photos of the damaged towers he sent me two new towers for free, as well as another torque wrench, so I could work with a second person. This time I read the manual carefully and watched the Yakima video many times during the a week before I felt confident enough to try installing the racks again. This time they fit perfectly. I love both the rack and the kayak cradles. I use them to transport my two kayaks down to the Hudson River near my house and have also used them to carry the kayaks to a family camping site 50 miles away, confident they are safe and secure. But please, review the video you put out for the installation of the racks onto a 2017 Chevy Volt, and either correct the shortcomings by doing it over, with an explanation about the adjustment of the widths, and also reading the manual and finding the correct positions for the adjustment screws. (Or delete it and refer your customers to the Yakima installation video. Though it’s more generic than yours, at least the tell the customer to refer to the manual.

I finally had a chance to use the rack I put on my car (Toyota Camry) and I can now say that it worked perfectly. My 12.6” kayak fit nicely on the rack and was easily secured. Though the rack was easy to install, I worried that I might not have the strength to tighten the screws enough to insure that it would stay put on the roof. But the tool that comes with the rack is made in such a way that it shows when enough torque is being applied. Still, one never knows until the load is secured on the rack and taken for a ride. I'm happy to say everything stayed put. Good product. Thanks.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.

I have a 2012 Camry hybrid and haul a 180 L windsurfing board. My rack came as promised but lacked one of the bolts needed. I made one phone call and the missing bolt was on my porch in 2 days. There's virtually no wind noise, surprising since the car is very very quiet at baseline and I expected there to be some. My car lacks tie down or towing attachments so I got some of the loop type that clamp under the hood and trunk. I'm very pleased with construction, fit, ease of use, and customer support. I'd buy it again.

Fit my Camry.

I have been very happy with the roof rack system.

I followed directions and the rack went on without a hitch. The measuring tape provided was a bit confusing but my tape measure did just fine. It pays to watch for any movement of the stays as you tighten them. It fit perfectly. I was impressed with the quality of the unit. The torque wrench provided was a nice bonus. I attached a boat rack for my rowing shell and I’m confident it will be safe all the way to the water.

The spacing of the parts is *almost* perfect for my car. Nonetheless, it's held up for many moves now without slipping a bit.

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

Ordered a full (naked) roof rack package with snowboard/ski attachment. Items arrived as described. Set-up was simple and flawless. Instructions are fairly clear & simple. A paper tape measure is included. No issues with fitment.Purchased the fairing to reduce wind noise and it works perfect! No excessive wind noise whatsoever -- can open sunroof comfortably if I wanted to. Have not yet put my snowboards inthe attachment yet, but do not foresee any issues. Roof rack is on a 2015 Infiniti Q40 (G37 sedan 2009-2015).

This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.

Thanks to Etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!

I bought the Thule Evo Roof Rack to transport my kayak on my Lexus 300H. Thule will advise you on their website that his particular rack is not right for a Lexus 300H (i.e., they don't make a roof rack for a Lexus 300H); it is really for a Camry, but etrailer told me that is worked, I trusted them and they were correct. After all, a Lexus sedan is really a fancy Camry, but Thule will not acknowledge this point. It works great. Thule makes a solid product.
