Best 1993 Jeep YJ Accessories and Parts

So happy with this. Makes such a big difference over my old one. Had only one problem with the installation...and that was my fault. My son and I had it in about an hour or so. The dark tint makes it even better. Definitely recommend. Best part of it all my head stays dry in the rainy Ohio days now!!! Thanks again

The soft top hardware kit that I ordered for a jeep wrangler was a good quality product. It was easy to install with clear directions.

The product was well packaged and easy to install.

My package didn’t come with the mounting screws but I still got it mounted securely using two self-tapping screws I had available. I drilled them into the plastic surround near the vehicle bumper, and it worked just fine

We didn't need all the parts but the pieces we did need were critical. The rig is a Jeep JK 2-door with a custom bumper, front frame chop and higher clearance towbar points and we needed to have flexibility to mount the air brake lines. We were also on a short deadline to make the annual trek to Easter Jeep Safari and flat towing behind the coach would increase fuel economy 33% over towing on a trailer. The pieces were all familiar to me as we have this same setup in another rig and I knew they could be relied on to work with our RoadMaster braking system. etrailer got them to us quickly and we fabbed up the needed system in time to get out of town. A year later and it still works well. My only suggestion is a longer lasting rubber cover and possibly one for the interior fitting for use in a dirty/dusty environment. A very minor wish, the system is well thought out otherwise and does the job.

Works well. We haven't had a break away but testing proves we are safe. I had to adapt one of the brackets for fitment but everything else went smooth

Fairly easy to install

etrailer is a breeze to work with and always has what I need. Not sure yet on the quality of these parts, they are replacements for some installed less than a year ago. We'll see if these next 2 last a little longer.

Great little part that does the perfect job of protecting my electrical circuit between my fifth-wheel trailer and my truck. It does a great job of keeping the 12 volt power flowing in the correct/one-way direction.

Not a perfect setup for me, but the best option to minimize the number of different keys needed for my toad blue ox setup. Not comfortable with the cotter pin style that any kid could remove leading to a catasto

Great Bike rack. I've used it now for two months both on my truck and the 5th wheel. Very sturdy and safe. Easy to assemble, hook up and load. One small glitch; my 5th wheel has a window in back and the handlebar came close to the window causing concern of window damage, but my wife found a piece of round foam that works great to help this. (see pic) Glad I researched and got this one. Frame adapter bar works simply for step-through bike too.

This bar works great. Use it on the Townie Electra while on the Swagman Dispatch bike rack behind the camper.

Installed this Junction Box while repairing some previously installed sketchy wiring. Having access to these wires made a ground issue we were having very easy to diagnose. Very good product.

I mounted mine onto a piece of aluminum flat stock on the trailer “A” frame to reduce rock impact from Nevada’s gravel back roads. There really wasn’t good location on inside of trailer frame rails, was adding electric brakes and converting from 4 pin to seven. . I’m pretty darn happy with this junction box as it made rewiring rather straight forward. Our local 12 volt guru at the auto electric shop was duly impressed-wanted to know where I found it.

Packaging was inappropriate. Box arrived shredded with gaping holes and ineffective attempts to repair with packaging tape. Reasonable consideration should be made for shipping a bulky item weighing nearly 150 lbs.

Needed all 4 brakes for my 30 foot Airstream. One arrived looking still new, but with minor scratches on the inside face of the brake and the lube worn off compared to the others. The plastic clip that holds the brake wire on the back was also broken off. It could have happened in shipping, as that one box was a bit beat up, and the 5 fasteners that hold it to the frame were in a bag, but floating freely in the box. etrailer offered to replace the whole brake assembly, which I appreciated, but did not feel necessary. They sent the replacement clip and it snapped in as expected adn all is good. I will buy again when time to replace!

Replaced old non-self-adjusting trailer brake assemblies with new self-adjusting ones. See photos of old & new. TIP: Temporarily tape new wires out of the way to avoid pinching them between the axle flange and backing plate when mounting the new brake assemblies (ask me how I know).

Did a remove and replace. Original Dexter Brake assemblies had curved wear and missing the brake adjusting plugs, getting dust and no doubt water in them from the Airstream plant in Jackson Center, OH. All EIGHT of eight wheels had them missing. That was my Problem. Now the Cure: etrailer had two Brake Assembly kits at my door three days after ordering. I installed them today and they work and had supplied five fresh locking bolts and the two plastic brake adjusting plugs. I am one happy Airstream trailer camper. First time doing brakes on a trailer and it was much easier doing the complete assembly. Will break them in as suggested in their installation instructions. I recommended etrailer.com on the Airforums.com that Airstream owners follow for information. One member already said he ordered parts, as he did not know how to find what he needed. Excellent service ordering from my computer. Notice of parts being shipped was emailed to me. Parts were dropped off at my doorstop. If the carton had some glazed doughnuts included... it would have been 5% better. George J.... you did me right as a first time customer.

Fast delivery, product fit perfectly and was just as discribed. Purchased 6 never adjust Assy's for 6000 lb axles. Much easier than replacing part by part.

I received my ax/shovel brackets today and had them on my Yakima rack less that half an hour after receiving them. Installation was a breeze. Once mounted these holders securely clamp my ax and shovel (looking for a good looking stainless shovel now....) to the sides of the basket securely. They look good also. I would like to have seen less plastic in this product but I believe that they will last for years as long as no overtightening occurs when clamps are tightened. In all-a great product.

Even though it was designed for a Yakama roof basket it does fit on a Thule roof basket. I would have given it 5 stars of it weren’t for the part that tightens the tool to the rack is mostly plastic.

Does what it needs to do for trailer plug connections.

I always use Dielectric Grease on all electrical connections, Seems to work well.

Bought this as a spare for towing my FJ Cruiser behind my motorhome. Did not want to be delayed if the one I am using got stolen or damaged. This is an exact replacement for my original and had a great price and quick delivery and extremely well packaged.

2018 Chevy Equinox LT, 1.5L Turbo. Product works perfectly and has for the last year. Always use etrailer.com to get it right. Tried to get the right products as a kit, but that was a total mess as the kits didn't even come close to what I needed. Called etrailer to get their expert opinion and it was great! For example, just for electric it took 3 different packages for the wiring. I also ordered the Blue Ox towing hardware including the car install and the tow bar. Used their videos for all the installations. Would not have gone well at all without their knowledge. Thanks etrailer!
