Replacement Slide-Out Motor for Model 1-065-041-012 Slide-Out on 2014 Forest River Rockwood

Question:

01/16/2025 Travel Trailer 2014 Forest River Rockwood mini-lite 2109S Slide-out model 1-065-041-012 Need a replacement slide out gear/motor. Im not understanding the difference between the part TSU24FR and the part LC125802. The specifications are the same and TSU24FR references LCI125802. Thank You

Hey Martin,

The only difference I'm seeing between the Replacement Motor # TUS24FR and the Replacement Motor # LC125802 is that the TUS24FR has a 9000 RPM rating while the LC125802 has a 440 RPM rating while under load, which jumps up to 500 RPM when unloaded.

In the past we've had people reach out and say their slide out model 1-065-041-012 has a motor with a 9000 RPM so I recommend going with the # TUS24FR since the RPMs match.

Jon, I ordered the TUS24FR only to find out the attachment screw/bolt did not come with the unit nor was there threads on the attachment housing. I returned the TUS24FR and purchased the LC125802 since it shows the attachment bolt in the housing. However in the new order (part rcvd 02/13/2025), the LC125802 also did not come with a screw/bolt but should have as indicated in etrailer.com website. It also does not have threads in the housing. Both the TUS and LC parts look identical (and specs) to my old motor except for the missing bolt (and threads). is it possible the new parts were not threaded at the factory? Very discouraged.

@Martin Hmmm, that's interesting. Would you mind shooting me some photos of the threaded part you're talking about? These are supposed to be exact replacements. I'm not surprised that one didn't come with the bolt just because sometimes it's a "use the old hardware" type of solution, but the threaded part is throwing me off. My email is [email protected]
