Question:

Hey Deen,
I've listed out the main differences between the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK448133 and BAKFlip FiberMax Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK1126133 below:
The MX4 has a matte-black finish whereas the FiberMax has a textured, gloss-black finish. The dual-action tailgate seal on the MX4 allows you to close your tailgate whether the cover is open or shut. The flap seal on the FiberMax overlaps your tailgate, so the tailgate needs to be shut before the cover is closed. The fiberglass panels on the top of the FiberMax will help reflect heat to keep the cover cooler, but the reviews show that most people prefer having an all aluminum cover over a the fiberglass top as it tends to hold up better over time.
Personally, I prefer the how the FiberMax looks but if you're looking for better durability the MX4 is going to be the better option.
