Replacement Parts For The Yakima HoldUp EVO Bike Rack  

Question:

looking for the locking/adjusting hardware for the yakima hold up evo bike rack. rear ender accidant bent it all. spine is good, shank may be ok but the mechanism is all bent. Do you sell the hardware? thanks

Hi Aaron,

Are you referring to just the speed knob # 8880904 or the tilting mechanism? If you're needing the tilting mechanism then you'd have to replace the shank as well with part # 8880824. If you're referring to something else and want to send me some pictures I can see if a replacement is available.

Hey Kevin, thanks for the follow up and sorry for my delayed response. In response to your question, I am referring to the tilting mechanism that adjusts by dropping into the cutout slots on the shank. It appears as if our shank (8880826) is ok but all the lighter gauge steel (handle, foot release lever, spring) is what was damaged. I don't see those parts available for purchase. Are they? I will work on getting some pictures of it too. Thanks

@Aaron It looks like the components you're needing for the tilting mechanism aren't sold separately so you'd have to purchase a whole new spine assembly # 8880824 in order to replace the tilting mechanism.
