Replacement Lock for a Sears X Cargo XL Roof Cargo Box
Question:
I am looking for a replacement locking system for the Sears X Cargo XL. The current lock is frozen so the key will not turn to open the box.

Hey Phillip!
The lock housing on your Sears X Cargo XL box is riveted to the box itself. There isn't a direct replacement for it but we've had some customers successfully use the Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # SR03807 instead.
Aside from this you'll need a completely new cargo box. Depending on the size of your current cargo box you might consider the 16 cu ft SportRack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box # SR7016 if you end up going with a complete replacement.
