Availability Of 6 Pin DPDT Switch For RV Slide Out

Question:

I have a 2005 forest river wildcat. The slideout switch is 6 pin. The closest Ive been able to locate is a 5 pin. Im curious if I can use that and if so how do I wire it.

I've got a 6-pin switch option for you with the # 37212835. This is the same DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) style as your current switch. The plate it is installed in is a different design, but you should be able to remove the new switch from it's mounting plate and retrofit it into your existing plate without too much difficulty.

Hi. I had the same problem as Guy N.. I have a 2005 chateau citation. I need a six prong slide out switch. The problem is the prongs on the original one are small. They're less then 1/4 inch. What is i'm on finding online Are all 1/4 and they're way too wide. The #37213835 That you are suggesting are the prongs narrower, then 1/4? Thank you. Pam

@Pam The # 37213835 above uses the standard sized spade terminals which is 1/4". I do not see any replacement switches that we offer that are going to have smaller terminals. Your best bet (assuming you have enough slack in the wire) is to cut off your old spade terminals, and splice on new ones that are the standard size like (6) of the # DW01899-1.
