Correct Replacement Flush Ball Seal for a Dometic 310 Series Toilet

Question:

I have a Dometic toilet Mod 310. I know the seal is not great because the toilet will not hold water in the bowl. When this seal fails could that cause water to leak to the outside of the toilet around the pedestal bolts or should I be looking at the water valve as the culprit?

A damaged seal is going to be the most likely to be the culprit of your leak and would just require a brand new seal Replacement Flush Ball Seal for Dometic RV Toilet # DOM63FR to fix.

While you're down there it wouldn't hurt to check out the water valve to make sure there isn't any leaking, but it's highly likely that its just a damaged/worn seal.
