Troubleshooting Low Pressure With A Flow Max RV Fresh water Pump
Question:
We have checked connections, water in tank, cleaned the filter, no kinks in lines. However, the pump is hardly producing suction or output airflow. This is only the second season for the pump and it worked beautifully all last season. Any suggestions? Thank you.

The first thing to always check is the power and ground when it comes to anything electronic. Double-check that you're actually getting a full 12 volts to the pump # LC689052 with a multimeter # PT89ZR. If not then the power source is the issue and can cause the the pump to partially work, like you've been experiencing.
When you winterized your trailer last fall did you run all of the water out of the line? This pump is safe to run dry so you could empty the tank and turn on the pump to ensure it pulls everything out of the line through a faucet. If not and you still had water inside the pump it could've froze and damaged the pump internally.
The only other thing you haven't checked that you could is simply the pressure adjuster screw on the end of the pump. There's a possibility that maybe someone messed with yours or that it somehow got turned down and needs to be adjusted to fix the pressure.
