Are Furrion Or Advent Air RV Air Conditioners The Better Choice For An Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I have a 7*16 enclosed trailer that I am going to be using for my business. I am looking at your ac units and wondering which would be best between the advent and furrion? We will be selling stuff from the inside of the trailer. Thank you

In my personal opinion Furrion is superior to Advent Air in both performance and customer service. I've also seen notes stating that Advent Air will not warranty any units installed on enclosed trailers since the intended purpose is on a camper or motorhome roof made to support the weight of the condenser unit.
Enclosed trailers typically do not have proper support for an AC unit or a thick enough roof so you will have to do a bit of frame work to make it work. Since enclosed trailers typically aren't well insulated either I recommend going with a higher BTU rating to help offset the amount work the unit will be doing.
For this I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR92PR. It has the controls on the air distribution box, which is typically better in this situation since you won't have to run a line for a wall thermostat or even have one be in way if you're really loading up the trailer and need every inch.
AC units can be a bit overwhelming to install but I'd be happy to help you along the way if you get stuck.
