Parts Needed to Connect A Coleman RoadTrip Portable Grill to a Lance 1985 TT W/ Quick Disconnect
Question:
Hello, I have an older Coleman RoadTrip portable grill that Id like to use with my Lance model 1985 trailer built-in quick disconnect. Ive read that two regulators should not be on the same line. I would like to know if I can bypass the screw-on regulator for the disposable tanks and go directly to the grill from the built-in camper connection. Ive included a picture of the regulator Id like to do without if you have a hose that can connect directly like the green circled connection in the picture. Thank you! Robert

Yes you can bypass the regulator on your trailer tank and go directly from the grill to your trailer's quick disconnect. What you're going to need is the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - Model 250 Quick-Disconnect # 100476-72-MBS and the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103613-MBS.
From here you will just connect the Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting to your trailer's tank and run the adapter hose # 100476-72-MBS to your Coleman RoadTrip and you'll be all set.
I've also attached a diagram of the Sturgi-Stay for you to check out as well.
