Brake Controller Recommendation for 2010 Ford F-450 Towing Gooseneck Trailer
Question:
Which Brake Controller do I need for my Gooseneck Triple 7000 lb. Axels w/ Drum Brakes? I have a 44foot Gooseneck Triple 7000 lbs. each Axels on my Tiny Home Trailer that weighs little over 5000 lbs. What Brake Controller Kit Plug and Play do you suggest for my application? My Tow Vehicle is a 2010 F 450 Truck. 6.4 L Engine, Diesel 4 x 4. Thanking you

Thank you for reaching out!
For your application I recommend checking out the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 which installs directly to the OEM connector on your 2010 Ford F-450 Super Duty using the Wiring Adapter # 3034-P.
I really like this brake controller because it uses proportional braking (activates the trailer brakes at the same time and the same strength as the brakes on your truck) and it's very straightforward to use. It has an an LCD screen that can make navigating the menus much easier (when you aren't towing of course) so you can get everything setup the right way.
Attached is a review video of this controller for you to check out!
