Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessOne Compressor System Remote Not Pairing

Question:

After replacing a fuse near the battery, the remote will not pair back up with the compressor. When the remote comes out of sleep mode, it comes up under the Devices and it says Scanning. No Devices are listed. The system is less than a year old and was paired previously for many months... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like the compressor system may not be getting power or is not waking up. Depending on how the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 is wired to your vehicle you may have to do additional steps. The wiring harness has a ignition wire which if not connected to an ignition source will not wake up the compressor and manifold until it senses vehicle movement. You will want to check this wire for power if connected to a ignition source. If it is not connected you may need to drive the vehicle around before attempting to pair the Remote # AL72704.

@TheunsL I have the exact same thing. Installed in Oct 2023. It stopped working March 28 2024. The remote and the app doesnt work. says no device found or continues to sync. Tried power cycle, and tried removing the fuse.

@TheunsL What tests and checks have you done? Have you confirmed power is getting to the manifold with a Test Light # PTW2993?

I have the same problem it worked about 3 years flawless, now can’t get it to pair tried a new fuse and both remotes don’t work. My next step is to check if there’s power at the manifold. Is there anything else to check thanks in advance

@Corey When you check for power getting to the manifold also check your ground connection as that could also cause it to have power issues.

I am having the same problem. I purchased a new phone and tried to sync it to the app, but there was a connection error. It shows the name of the device I am trying to sync it to but nothing. I have tried on my phone, my friends phone, pulled the fuse for 5 seconds, put it back in to ensure that it is in pairing mode with no luck. Is there an aftermarket remote that will work for this? I regret not getting the one with the remote.

@Spencer Do you happen to still have the old phone you could try again with? Interested to see if that one still works or across the board its not working.

Reading your article, when my system was first installed by the mechanic it works fine,. Now I'm wondering because the only power supply I see is hooked up to the battery terminal, if that's causing my problem. My phone will find the device but it doesn't connect

My remote has never paired from day one. I am wired correctly with “key on power” wired. My IPhone paired up with no issue and has worked issue free. But that said I want the remote I paid for to work as intended
