Recommended Replacement Rooftop AC Units For A Coleman Mach AC System
Question:
I will be replacing both existing ducted 13,500 btu Coleman AC units on my 1999 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision 36b motohome. Im looking for highly efficient units that allow for me to use the existing ducts and/or run the ac through an air distribution box directly to cool the space Dump the air. I have already purchased 2 softstart units to be used with whatever ACs i end up purchasing, so I also need to make sure whatever units you recommend, would be compatible. Im interested in the Furrion units but do not know a lot about them or their overall reliability and longevity. If you could please provide me with some feedback and recommendations, that would be great. Obviously im trying to keep my cost under control and I have been looking at the Dometic Brisk air II models as well as other Coleman models. That said, I open to recommendations. Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

Randy made a video, which I've posted below, where he went through the specs of the Furrion, Advent Air, and Atwood untis that we carry and came to the conclusion that Furrion was the overall best option so I definitely recommend the Furrion units over those brand as well as Dometic and Coleman.
For The best efficiency, while also keeping the cost down, you can get the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 13,500 Btu # FR82PV. These units simply replace the just the rooftop unit and come with a wiring harness adapter to allow you to retain use of the other components of your AC system. These units also come with start capacitors already installed so you can return the ones you purchased to get some money back.
