How to Measure for Replacement Axle on Dual PWC Trailer
Question:
I need a axle for my dual pwc trailer. I was wondering is there a 1 size that will fit all or what should I do measure Mine is this critical? If so fro where to where so I measure and how do I ask for 1 like say it’s 100” long will I need to know leaf springs to leaf spring length also. How should I measure this thing from where the spindle goes in from the spindle or from the front of hub where lug nuts are. I need 1 with hubs springs eveything installed ready to go. Last question I purchase bearings from you guys for my boat last year and want to buy some spares. I already forgot if it was tapered or stator spindle. I can measure the center of hub that should tell me outter bearing but I’m unable to take off wheel to measure inner. Will measuring from back of hub by seal tell me size. I think you guys told me since it was a bigger 1 I believe 3000-3500lbs that it was strait spindle 1 size. The problem we had and I was shocked is your guys don’t carry the seal I need. ORIELLYS has it but you guys said it’s the very rare seal you don’t have it. It wasn’t about .25mm bigger then regular seals. Thanks so much soon as I get this info I’ll take measure and make purchase

Since you're looking for a complete axle, hub, and suspension kit the easiest way to go is with the Timbren Axle-Less system. You can use part # A35RS545 for a standard hub or part # A35RS545E for a replacement hub/drum and brake system. These bolt directly to your trailer frame so it's just a matter of following the instructions and making sure you have everything spaced out correctly. You will need to have this same Axle-Less system installed for both axles though so you can't mix this with a standard axle system.
For a standard axle you can use something like part # e52GR which comes with the standard hubs or part # e52SR which comes with the whole brake setup. This has 95" hub-face (from where the wheels mount to the hub) and 80" spring-center measurements so you'll want to compare these with what you currently have to see if this will work. I've attached a photo showing these dimensions for you to check out.
If you're needing to replace leaf springs as well then I need to know the center-eye to center-eye measurements of what you currently have so I can recommend something similar. I wasn't able to find a previous order from you using this email address so I'd need to know the email you used or your order number to help you out with replacement bearings. Otherwise you're going to have to pull a hub and look for bearing/seal numbers or measure your spindle.
