Comparing The etrailer And Curt Trailer Hitches For A 2023 Toyota Sienna

looking at hitches for my Sienna and there are two choices that look similar but have a price difference. Why is one more expensive than the other?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22UR and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e56RR are essentially the same exact trailer hitch with the only difference being the paint. The Curt has a glossy black finish, while the etrailer has a matte black finish. Gloss black is pretty much the standard for trailer hitches but it tends to show scratches and dents more distinctly than a matte black will. Personally, I prefer the matte black because of this since it will better maintain its looks for longer.
If you plan on towing anything you'll want to also pick up the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK69FR in order to transfer your light signals back to the trailer.
