Do Running Boards from a 2020 Silverado 2500 Fit on a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500?

Would running boards from a 2020 silverado 2500 fit a 2018 gmc 2500? The running boards have 3 brackets

It truly depends on what model of running boards you have. Unfortunately, we cannot identify the running boards by the number of brackets you have. You can definitely feel free to send us a photo of the boards to see if there are any identifying features. Along with the photos, I also need to know the cab type on both trucks (crew cab, double cab, or regular cab).

The reason why it depends on the particular running board model is because manufacturers engineer running board models for specific years/makes/models/cab types of vehicles. For example, the Aries Nerf Bar model that fits a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 Crew Cab is part # AA66ZB. That same nerf bar style that fits the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 is the # AA2558047 (for gas only Sierra 2500s).

Sometimes, however, you can get lucky and have some overlap of models where running boards fit two different year/make/model/cab type of truck. If you send me photos and the cab type on the trucks, I would be happy to investigate this further for you.
