Will the Yakima SweetRoll # Y04074 Fit Thule Aero Crossbars?
Question:
Hello looking to purchase a Yakima sweet roll kayak carrier. I was wondering if they are compatible with Thule aero style bars, some reviews say they don’t open wide enough to mount? I have a complete Thule rack system along with Thule aero carriers, however I’d like to add a 3rd in the middle of my rack for solo trips, seems easier to slide up from the rear..

Yes. The Yakima SweetRoll # Y04074 fits the Thule AeroBlade Edge models and the Thule WingBar Evo Aero crossbars like the # TH711400. In order to secure the SweetRoll to your crossbars, I recommend using the Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07204.
If you need to know the parts for a third crossbar, feel free to respond with the year/make/model of your vehicle as well as the roof type you have and I will be happy to recommend that setup for you.
