Replacement Valve Stem for Old 4.80/4.00-8 Trailer Tire
Question:
Question. I have a 4.80/4.00-8 trailer tire. I put too much air and the air tip broke off. Does that mean it has a inner tube that can be replaced or is it just the air tip that needs replaced? Not sure if the trailer has inner tube or not.

There are some 4.80/4.00-8 trailer tires which use inner tubes and some that do not, I can't answer whether or not yours do for you. I can only speak to tubeless options as that is all we offer. If it's tubeless then you can simply replace the valve stem using the Americana Rubber, Snap-In Valve Stem part # AM20903. If you do have an inner tube and want to switch to tubeless then I recommend the Kenda Loadstar K371 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM10002.
