How to Measure a Pop-Up Camper For Correct Storage Cover Fit
Question:
I have a 24ft Coleman Pop Up camper with an AC mounted to the top, and I am looking for a cover since it sits on my driveway and exposed to the elements. Can you recommend something?

We first need to know what size is required for your camper when closed up. When measuring for a pop-up trailer cover you want to measure from the back of the camper to the front of the trailer box when it is closed up. This is to include any storage box that is mounted on the frame, but not to the end of the tongue. On the back side, include anything that is attached to the rear, such as spare tire etc. go to the furthest point you want covered. See the attached image. For the height, measure from the top of the box to the bottom of the box, not to the ground. You do not need to include the height of the AC unit as the manufacturer has accounted for this variation.

The Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover for Pop-Up Campers, # 290-12294, is for campers from 14' to as much as 16' long. It is a heavy-duty, 3-layer fabric that protects against rain, snow, and sun. This contoured fit matches the shape of your camper and secures with a cinch rope and straps with buckles. This is a great option and what I suggest for short-term storage in moderate climates with moderate moisture. The Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover for Pop-Up Campers comes in other lengths as well if needed to match your camper.
For a longer term storage, especially in cold, snowy regions, I suggest the Camco UltraGuard Pop-Up Camper Cover, # CAM45764. this too is for campers from 14' to as much as 16' long. This is a heavy-duty polypropylene fabric on sides that resists UV rays, water, and tears. It has a 3-Layer top panel that beads water on contact providing maximum resistance to rainfall and snow. The top and bottom layers are spun bond polypropylene and the middle layer is micro-porous breathable film. The heavy-duty zippers provide easy access to doors and storage even with cover in place. This too is available in other lengths if needed, please follow the link to product page.
