To find your truck's towing capacity, subtract your truck's curb weight from its Gross Combined Vehicle Weight Rating (GCVWR). The GCVWR is the maximum weight of your loaded truck and the weight of its attached trailer. You can actually find the towing capacity of your Silverado on the sticker located in your door jamb or on the door on the driver side.

Without knowing the year of your Silverado I can't give you any definitive numbers but you'll be able to tow a 5th wheel trailer. I can help you find a hitch as well if you provide the year, bed length, and whether or not you have an OEM puck system in your bed.
