Operation and Sound of Deer Alert and Will it Bother a Dog Inside the Vehicle
Question:
Just Watchmen your vídeo about the Deer Alert, and you said when turned on it beeps and it will get softer. So if you install the switch and turn it on are you going to have to turn it off and on again for it to stay loud when you are in a area of known deers ? Since you said it gets softer the longer you have it on ? Then it does say you could wire it to your ignition so when key is on then the Deer alert would be on, way would someone want to Drive around with it beeping all the time, or does it just beep at first to let you know its on, then goes to a frequency low enough that we can not hear But the animals do hear it ? Now if so, does this bother dogs ? Because I always travel with mine and dont want them to have to hear this all the time to ?

I actually made that video to demonstrate the sound the deer alert # HM27512VA makes. I define it as an echoing chirp. It chirps about 4 times, the first is the loudest, and then gets only slightly quieter with each chirp after that. Then it repeats as long as it is on.
It will make noise as long as there is power to it so you would probably want it on a switch. You would not have to keep turning it on and off. It is probably not going to bother your dog since it will be in the vehicle and the road noise would be louder in the vehicle than the deer alert. The frequency is audible to humans at all times. I have linked the page that features the video for you.
