Troubleshooting A Lighting Issue On A G6A-8E Water Heater
Question:
I have a g6a-8e water heater. When I turn on the propane and try to fire up the water heater, it ignites, but wont stay lit more than a few seconds. Ive tried unplugging the 4 wire connection on the board and plugging it back in. It clicks on but the igniter keeps clicking and the flame goes outI have replaced the gas valve and a new spark probe. Is the problem with the circuit board? Thank you.

Since you already replaced the spark probe it's most likely the control board on your G6A-8E water heater with the Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters Item # AT91367. You may also want to replace the wire harness Item # AT93312 as there could be a short or some kind of damage in one of the wires causing a miscommunication.
