How To Wire Up LED Tailgate Light Bar On 2019 Ford Ranger
Question:
I ordered the OPT7 triple LED tail light bar, along with the CURT 55384. I was told by OPT7 that this will work with my vehicle, as long as I wire the reverse light into to tail light to avoid BLIS or trailer error codes. Do I still need the C583485 for this to work correctly? I’ve watched several install videos and it’s very confusing. I want this to be one and done. Can you help? Thank you so much!

It sounds like you're wanting to install a tailgate light bar like the Putco Blade LED Tailgate Light Bar part # P92009-48 on a 2019 Ford Ranger. If that is the case then most of these light bars will simply plug into a 4-way trailer connector like the above. Therefore, all you'll need is the 4-way for the vehicle assuming you don't already have one. In order to obtain this, you'll need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector part # 22124 and 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975.
