Weight Capacity of Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist
Question:
What is the rating of the springs that come with Gorilla Lift? Are they 90#, 110# or more? Can I order heavier springs?

The Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist part # GL1 is designed for tailgates no more than 300 lbs. There is not an option to upgrade the weight capacity nor is there a lift assist for a heavier tailgate. This would be he limit for a tailgate assist. If used on a heavier tailgate, it would still provide some assistance but the tailgate would likely still drop when let go of.
