Difference Between Pewag and Glacier Tire Chains 2229SC
Question:
Hello, Can you tell me the difference between the Pewag and Glacier snow chains. Specifically E 2229 SC and H 2229 SLC. Since they are both Pewag/Glacier products I assume one is imported China and one is US made?
asked by: Steve B
Expert Reply:
So Pewag and Glacier are both made by the same company with the Pewag brand being the premiere line and the Glacier line being more budget friendly. The # PWE2229SC is the Pewag version is made from a stronger steel and is reversible which means that it's going to last considerably long whereas the Glacier # PWH2229SC will fit and function the same but won't last nearly as long.
