Can I Install The JT's Strong Arm Stabilization Kit On A Hydraulic Auto Leveling System?
Question:
Do I need 3 sets of 2 or a total of 6 of this item to install the jts strong arm stabilizing system on my fifth wheel? I have an auto leveling hydraulic system. I own a 2015 Forest River XLR Thunderbolt 385 AMP. thank you so much for your help. Do you think this system is more stabilizing than the tri pods?

Expert Reply:
Tri Pods do give you a major boost in stabilization, but a system like the JT Strong Arm Stabilizer Kit # LC191025 will be much more stabilizing. Why? Well you are taking your current jack and adding two separate components, creating a larger spread compared to scissor jacks. Also creating two bigger triangles will result in more stabilization. So, the Strong Arm Jack Stabilization is the more stable route.
If I were installing these arms, I would be using two of the adapter lugs # LC314592 per each jack baseplate so, a total of 4 adapter lugs. Then you will have the other brackets that come with the stabilization kit.
It would be more cost effective if you were to grab the Strong Arm Kit. If you have 58 inches of more distance between landing gear get this kit # LC191023 if you have less, get this kit # LC191024.
I've included the video of Randy Installing this stabilization kit so check that out to learn more!
