Can Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power Converter/Charger Power Two 6V Batteries
Question:
About a year ago I installed a progressive dynamics converter in my travel trailer to upgrade the crummy one installed from the factory. I am not able to get exact model number right now but it is a current smart converter with charge wizard purchased from etrailer. I am having battery issues and looking to upgrade to a dual 6 volt in series system. Do I have any worries using the same 12 volt converter being that it will still be a 12 volt system. Just looking for clarification before purchasing the new batteries. Thank you for your time.

I was able to look up your previous order and confirmed that what you have is the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger - 12V - 60 Amps # PD9260C.
Since you're planning on wiring your two 6-volt batteries in series (not in parallel), so the output will remain at 12 volts, the Inteli-Power RV Converter/Charger will work perfectly, just as long as they're not Lithium batteries, as these require a special charger, like # PD9160ALV.
