How to Connect 20 lb Propane Tank to Stok Gridiron Grill with Quick Disconnect
Question:
Do you have a quick connect LP gas line for a Stok Gridiron grill to hook up to my 20lb Propane tank. I dont want to just use the hose that has the screw in 1LB bottle connector that screws into the regulator because it is tucked was under the grill. So I would like to replace the regulator with one that has quick connect or find a fitting that goes from the 1LB bottle connector to a quick connect like the Camco gas control valve idea. Thanks

I've always thought that this type of conversion would be useful. Right now there are no commercially available products designed to do what you are looking for, but I have a way we can make this work.
To start, the product designed to connect a portable grill to a 20 lb or 30 lb propane tank is a simple adapter hose like part # 100555-72-MBS, but as you mentioned, this would require you to reach under the grill to attach the fitting.
If you want to convert the fitting to a quick disconnect, then we will have to get a little creative with parts. We don't have a way to replace the regulator on a Stok Gridiron grill, but you could make this work with the following combination of parts in this order:
-Adapter - 1 lb tank to 1/4 inch female NPT fitting # 37207-30145 (attaches to grill regulator)
-Adapter Hose - 1/4 male NPT to quick disconnect # 37207-31185
-Pigtail Hose - 20 lb Tank to 1/4 inch male NPT # 100473-20-MBS (attaches to propane tank and quick disconnect fitting on adapter hose)
The only other part you will need is some thread sealant tape, # 37207-30025, for the NPT fittings. You do not need to use this tape on the tank or regulator fittings.
