Can ST235/80R16 Trailer Tires Be Replaced with ST235/85R16 Tires
Question:
I have ST235/80R16s on my camper now. Can I go to the 85 instead of 80? Im interested in 4 tires, although Id like to know what is your best RV tire, regardless of cost in these sizes?

An ST235/85R16 size trailer tire like the Kenda Karrier # AM10295 will be just under an inch larger in diameter/height but will have the same width as your existing ST235/80R16 tires. As long as you have the fender clearance available for this slightly larger size (keep in mind too that only half of this difference will actually affect this clearance as the other half is below the axle) this upgrade won't be an issue at all.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
