With most vehicles you have the choice of adding a hitch and then a bike carrier to that hitch, a trunk mounted bike rack, or a roof mounted bike carrier. I will provide you one of each and recommend what I think is best for your Tesla Model 3.

For a trunk mounted option, the SeaSucker Talon # 298-BT1004 is truly unique and is my recommendation. This rack mounts to your rear glass windshield via super strong vacuum cups. You won't have to be concerned with scratching the finish of your Model 3 as there's no body contact. It's also super easy and fast to install making transporting your bike a cinch with more time to enjoy doing what you love.

A roof mounted bike carrier would be another option to consider. You would first need a roof rack like the Yakima roof rack consisting of parts # Y00426, # Y28TR, and # Y06173. This rack is strong and durable, able mount a variety of accessories should you want to do more than just biking with your Tesla. Onto this roof rack, I recommend the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier # Y02103 which unlike the beforementioned Komodo, does not require you to remove the front tire to mount.

If the first two don't suit you, you can add a hitch to your Tesla Model 3 to then carry a bike rack on the rear. I recommend the Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver # 391TES317 as a perfect solution for your Tesla. It's hidden design allows for both the crossbar and receiver to be hidden when not in use but easily installed when you need to add your bike rack or other accessory. For a bike rack, the Thule T1 1-Bike Platform Rack # TH9041 is a lightweight design that is strong and sturdy to support your road bike.
