Troubleshooting Bully Integrated LH-003 Tailgate Lock on 1999 Chevy C1500

I have installed a bully lock on my 1999 GMC sierra C 1500 and I can’t get the lock to turn and start it properly at that fault but I still can’t get the key to turn what could my probably work a bug problem be

The 1999 model year was a split model year for GM trucks. They made the C/K series which was mechanically identical to the 1998 model and the Silverado/Sierra which was mechanically identical to the 2000 model. The Bully # LH-003 is a fit for the Silverado, but not for the C/K series which would explain why it's unfortunately not working for you.

This being said, we do indeed have a solution that would work well for you, the # PAL1050 from Pop & Lock is a confirmed fit for your truck that would allow you to retain the OEM tailgate handle. I've linked you to the installation instructions.
