Recommended Air Bags for a 2020 Toyota Tundra That Work With 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I just got a 2020 Toyota Tundra and will be towing a 5th wheel trailer. I want air bags like my last truck had but want to make sure I get the correct set for this truck that will work with my 5th wheel hitch. Thanks

The air bags I recommend for a 2020 Toyota Tundra are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2445. The Firestone Air Helper Springs are going to do a great job of helping level the vehicle while loaded or towing which will then improve stability and stopping power. They are a complete bolt-on fit for the Tundra with no drilling required and work with in-bed fifth wheel or gooseneck hitches. I have attached a photo to show the difference in ride height once installed and in-use. The best part of all is that you can deflate the air bags while not in use so you don't affect the ride quality which is a very important feature for those that use the truck for more than just towing/hauling.
In order to take full advantage of the Firestone Air Helper Springs you will want to install an air compressor kit which will allow you to make adjustments to the air bags on the fly and you don't have to have an external air compressor to inflate them. The Air Command Compressor System part # F2610 is what I recommend because it is wireless so you don't have to run any wires or air lines into the cab for installation.
