Comparing the Edge Evolution CTS2 and Edge Juice with Attitude CTS2 for a 2007 Ram 2500 Cummins
Question:
I currently have an 07 dodge ram 2500 5.9 it has a edge with juice attitude tuner in it. The monitor took a crap so I bought an edge evolution cts3. I already have all my egt cables ran and all that. I havnt recived my evolution yet though. Its in the mail. Will my old cables work for the egt or do I have to buy new ones. I also did not realize the evolution just plugs into the obd2. Whats the advantage of the evolution over the juice or vise versa. Might sell the evolution and go back to the juice. Thanks. Also I like the on the fly adjustment of the attitude. I heard you can not tune on the fly with the evolution.

The main difference between the Edge Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner part # EP36YR and the Edge Juice with Attitude CTS3 Performance Tuner part # EP53DR is that Edge Juice can be adjusted on the fly whereas the Edge Evolution cannot because it is a flash tuner meaning it flashes the vehicle's ECU. That said, there aren't really any other advantages for one over the other, so it really just comes down to preference.
Please note, the probe for the Edge Evolution is different than that of the Edge Juice so new cables and sensors will be needed.
