Wrench Needed To Remove Trailer Wheel Lug Nuts and Most Common Lug Nut Sizes on Trailer Wheels
Question:
I just picked up my popup and need to confirm what wrench size is needed to remove the lug nuts. I can’t tell if these are caps or actual lug nuts. I have a 2020 Forest River 1940LTD with 12 inch wheels ST145R12 with 5 bolt pattern.

Since most trailer manufacturers do not make wheel and tire information available to the general public, it is hard for me to tell you what size lug nuts you have on the wheel. I can tell you they do have caps over them. The most common size of lug nuts used on the trailer wheels are 13/16", 7/8" and 17-mm to 19-mm outer diameter lug nuts. I recommend to use a lug wrench like part # LW405 that comes with reversible sockets for you to remove the lug nuts.
